I understand how Waymo works but they are only really restricted by red tape from permits. I think highway driving is a much easier problem to solve than downtown SF during rush hour. I much prefer Waymo's approach to autonomous cars. Better to have a a very good system in place and start small...

I use dawn dish soap with some water in a spray bottle to clean anything that's greasy or oily...work great on stainless fridge and fingerprints.

I was thinking the same but If I was going into non charging territory for camping or whatever...I would just make room for a semi compact generator. Might be more beneficial, cheaper and more useful than a battery pack I might use the juice from a couple times a year with the weight penalty...
