Many thanks for closing the loop on that....it's great to know they made it right.

    Where’s our extended warranties??

THIS is my problem with Tesla: PCS repair cost from those reported on this forum out-of-pocket have been north of $5,000. Someone on the forum has reported Tesla states PCS repair will be $1,000. Tesla, lacks consistent messaging - other than they are inconsistent. When owners have to deal with...

PCS failure rates by year...is it just a matter of time?

Also be aware your AC bed outlets will likely fail also - it has been reported here as function provided by the PCS.

Are We Villains? IGN Article [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Oddly enough, Apple will NOT allow a movie villian to use/hold an iPhone - they don't want the negative affilation.

CT won’t lock and sleep after exit….

I am also on android, samsung. I have not had that issue, I do have in the last 2 software updates, a long delay 1 in 3 times unlocking the CT with phone in my driveway.

Sudden Rash of Network Connectivity Issues

Grrrr....that would be disappointing if Tesla internal CT resources as being depreciated.

Sudden Rash of Network Connectivity Issues

I've noticed odd connection issues, very long time for the phone to unlock the doors, a spare key does not work anymore - and will not reprogram. Long delays on navigation - however, I commute so my destination is not new - perhaps it is caching my previous destination.

Even Grok won't talk to me now!

I understand I can disable low-power mode. And most all of us EV owners understand nearly all the cars functions - come from the battery power. So it's unnecessary IMO after the first prompt to keep informing me that climate control uses power. Also, the remote climate/unlock is a convenience...

Even Grok won't talk to me now!

This is one of my issues with Tesla - very little to no documentation. When you encounter a 'deviation' between your expectations and something your Tesla does or does not do - you don't know if it is a problem or you don't understand the feature. You go to the forums - where results may...

PCS Failure / 3-Month+ Wait—Anyone else pushing for a buyback? Lemon Law? Legal Action?

I agree and disagree with some of this. Tesla has not gotten ahead of this problem. period. And all these owners posts about how the failure propagates, and how Tesla varied response across the US is a further indication that Tesla HAS NOT GOTTEN AHEAD OF THIS. There are people at Tesla [any...

Am i doing this wrong or are these wheel covers not supposed to fit?

[Pun]: I installed mine, buy placing them in the ceiling storage of my garage. Once installed, I noticed NO change in range, and NO wear on the tire sidewall.

    Trailer towing, WOW!

I disagree, As I am paying for the charge [I do not have Free Charging] I can fill my tank as I determine. Also, this limitation is somewhat 'random' in that one does not know when the 80% limit kicks in. Or where. or even what time of day. I've had the 80% limit occur where less than 20% of...

    Trailer towing, WOW!

The 80% is reported as 'Limited' by the 'charging' station - not the dashboard charging menu. You *might* be able to charge higher with a congestion fee - ~$0.5/ $1.00 per minute with a 5 minute grace period. However, Tesla is quite capricious in their stated policies and only consistent in...

    Trailer towing, WOW!

FYI: I have actually tried putting my CT into 'Tow Mode' before connecting to Superchargers, and they still impose 80% and congestion fees. As for living in CA - it's definitely the 'land of fruits & nuts'....the base of those working here are conservative, quite and keep their heads...
