Something similar happened to me last week. Two semis, one entering and the other in the leftmost lane. Neither of them made any attempt to move with me in the right lane. I had no choice but to disengage because FSD didnât know what to do. Had I disengaged sooner I âmightâ have gassed it and...
We just returned from a trip and FSD screwed up parking at superchargers about 30% of the time. What I mean is that it wouldnât even try to park at a stall. When it tried it nailed it. I have come to disengage when I get to parking lots because FSDs selection is so bad.
I wouldnât hold my breath - but clearly you are. I have driven trucks and SUVs my whole life and between the camera views, 4WS, and steer-by-wire I really donât feel the size, but everyone is different.
We were kind of in that group until version 14 and now both of us use it exclusively except for disengagements. If Tesla were to clean up the lane-choice, speed, and parking issues I donât know how much [normal]driving I would ever do.

If more people experienced FSD the demand would go through the roof (well, maybe not with this lame subscription model). It is simply amazing how people refuse (REFUSE) to see anything not perched on their nose.
I got a slew of questions from a friend that drives a Ford F150 yesterday and he touted a 600-mile range (and nothing else) as a concern. I went into detail about that not being the issue anymore, and why, but he is one data point in FS or of the range concern.

You reserved and never bought? Was the issue price, size, or both? It is hard to believe size would be an issue given how well the Cybertruck handles, and being stainless steel it doesnât need a garage (we live very near the ocean and I never worry about it and have no garage). With respect to...
I guess I misread the post. I thought the tech was saying that the noise was within spec, not that replacing the drive unit wouldnât fix the problem. I suppose they really mean the same thing in a way. That sucks.
I have not experienced any unusual noise from the front motor. Just the whine of an electric motor.
I would recommend driving without sound system and recording the noise and then attaching the recording to a service request. It is difficult to refute data; easy to refute what âyouâ hear.
the...
As a matter of fact I did not, but I have to say that the seals, having compared the condition of mine to several other CTs at the Denver service center, were probably in bad shape already. There was some high-speed wind noise before the incident but, even so, the CT has been a really quiet truck.
Update: Tesla said that these seals are in fact notorious âandâ that they could be susceptible to extreme heat. They said that the âbangâ we heard could have been caused by the seal smacking against the cant rail or the hood but they ran a diagnostic and found no anomalies. They told me that the...
