That isn't true at all. They have repeatedly mentioned about the roadster in quarterly and annual shareholder meetings. Maybe not personally to preorder people. Not that it matters to me as I would never be interested in such a vehicle but I have heard them talk about it.
But it is often the electrician that is doing the robbing. Maybe Tesla is doing the best it can to safeguard its customers but whenever you add overhead onto any program you also add costs. I don't know if there is a single solution that will meet everyone's needs. Gee, I almost sounded...
The IR team sent me an email asking me for my comments about the recent quarterly meeting and I took the opportunity to encourage Tesla to recreate a PR department to manage the Tesla dialog with the media (and investors). Maybe more people should do that?
Although I mostly agree with you regarding frustration, if you don't like Tesla products then why are you on a Cybertruck enthusiasts forum? I mean, you don't need to bad mouth the company you want to buy from when you could work more proactively to get the program rolling, couldn't you? Have...
I would take delivery if the only issue is the car not being washed, and then make a lot of noise about the service center or showroom. But if they spend 2 hours detailing how was it still dirty? I must be missing something. I go to the car wash and 5 minutes later my car looks great.
Yes, it could be there, but where would the wires go? At least up where the light bar goes there is power so the wires might more easily be concealed. Also, I’d rather mount the cameras to a non-truck item. As for the cameras I am sure that whatever field of view is needed can be found. Hell if...
My problem with the factory camera is that it gets dirty too easily. That is why I want to mount the rear-facing camera up high, where the upper light bar would be if I could get one.
One reason why I want the upper light bar is that I wanted to get one of these that has side cameras and a rear camera and to mount them facing backward on the upper lightbar (side cameras read and down of course). Then the question is, can we use the power cable for the interior-facing camera...
One would think that Tesla, if they wanted to renege on a lifetime agreement, would do it for all the people with Model Ss and Xs that got lifetime supercharging for free, which is worth substantially more than lifetime premium connectivity. They knew/know what they are doing, it is in print...
My guess would be October or later. That is what Tesla told you, right? Of course, they also tell us that it is an estimate, and that means it could be earlier or later. That covers all kinds of events.
I don’t want the beast, and even when I reserved the Tri-Motor it was for the range not the power. That much acceleration intimidates me. There are times when the upper light bar could be useful so I’d like to see it as an accessory.
