Do you have the schedule set to repeat? My wife had this problem that after an OTA update her car started to ignore the schedule but on my truck (and not on her Model Y, until I changed the setting) I had the schedule set to repeat and I never had that problem with OTA updates.
Summon and Banish are necessary features for L4/L5 autonomy but, for me at least, not necessary just yet. I would like to see speed control and navigation improve by leaps and bounds first. I hope this release improves those but it is good to see the Cybertruck integrated into the full stack...
Remind her what the gas and maintenance costs will be. If that doesnāt do it, and if you are driven by her desires, then I guess you are getting another Raptor. Or you could get her the Raptor and drive it when she needs a chauffeur :)
Thanks for the clear response. You say the Gateway is not necessary and Tesla providers say it is but still doesnāt work. I was just pointing that out.
I do not think that is [necessarily] the case, but I also do not know enough of how these things are implemented (e.g., regionally, energy supplier, configuration) to say. I have non-Tesla solar and a backup generator/transfer switch, and these were all in place when Tesla sent an installer to...
I find it interesting that radar detectors would be legal anywhere. Isnāt the whole idea of a radar detector to break the law and evade capture? If that is the case, then why would the authorities make them legal? Iāll check California law out of curiosity.
update: radar detectors are indeed...
That design looks like a large static cantilever load from the mirror unless the mirror weight is carried by the monitor, but if that is the case then you couldnāt reposition the mirror. There would also be dynamic/vibration load on that joint.
Agree to disagree? If you drove 4,800 miles without a disengagement I would hazard a guess that you are a completely different type of driver than the law/BHTSA would want of FSD.
I have had FSD go around someone on the right a couple of times in a service lane that is merging into a 1-lane highway. I suspect this is illegal but, at best, it is an extremely bad driving attitude. It is clear to me that the training scenarios that Tesla uses are totally focused on shaving...
āFor me FSD needs better navigation choice and smarter lane choice. FSD likes to get into the right lanes at every freeway merger where congestion occurs, when staying left easily suffices when continuing on the freeway.ā
I agree with these. I cannot go more than 15-20 miles (and that is...
- 2 uWCs
- separate circuits (1-60A, the other 50A)
- we charge the CT from 12:15-3:30 and the Y from 3:00-6:00.
- I have not been as aggressive with Tesla over the PowerShare fiasco as I probably should have been. Iād really, really like it to work, and it was a major selling point for the FS...
I have had almost no issues with mine. Sure, a couple of visits to reduce wind noise and get the correct windshield wiper, and a couple of visits for recalls, but all in all its been a wonderful experience and truck. I do wonder how many people have really had big issues with theirs. Clearly...
I do not know whether there is any incentive I would take that would involve giving up FSD on my Cybertruck that I would consider. You must never use FSD, but that, if true, is a big surprise. I may have quips with FSD lane selection and speed, but it is still wonderful.
