So the back plate on the fender was almost restricting mine from getting flush. Tech had to drill it out. new ones are welded studs to the stainless then the 8mm bolt. So possible some iteration has occurred since VIN 17XXX

They’ll get it right if you ask. Seems like these panels are very unique to themselves. You can get one wavy, get one with gaps. It’s hopefully going to get better.

Tesla got me back in. Fronts seating of the cantrails way better and my wavy one was replaced. Looks much better.
