    Maybe.. just a little envious.

Keep in mind, Rivian is already 3 months behind on their initial delivery date and very few people have actually received their trucks. Cybertruck owners aren't the only ones chomping at the bit. They've already bragged on their initial delivery, maybe after they ship their first 1000 or so and...

Maybe the cost of occasionally fixing a chip is less than the cost of wrapping every single car.

IDRA 8000 Ton Aluminum Press material concerns with Cybertruck Stainless Steel Material

Last I checked, when the end of the quarter comes around Tesla doesn't like having cars sitting in the factory waiting for parts. Lots of corners get cut. If the clamp assembly to hold that down wasn't in stock and you have 50 cars which are ready save that one piece, you can bet at some point...

IDRA 8000 Ton Aluminum Press material concerns with Cybertruck Stainless Steel Material

That's not an engineer, that is an assembler who ran out of parts after being told in very clear terms they need to ship cars by end of quarter".

Electrifying the outdoors starts early in the Rivian product life-cycle. Also... I see a lot of Model Ys going north and they are usually not wrapped either. I'm not sure when they choose to wrap new cars for transport.

Spotted in Colorado. Looks like at least a few Rivian trucks heading out for delivery. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/truckload-of-r1t-spotted-heading-to-colorado.2112/

Help me solve this Cybertruck Riddle...!

It's easier to render a clip like this consistently than it is to film it live. I don't care if the footage is done in multiple takes so long as it is an accurate representation of what to expect.

    Charging stations.

There are more Cybertrucks on pre-order than there are Teslas on the road today. The number of Teslas on the road is likely to triple between now and when the Cybertruck is launched. We need more charging stations. Just all around. At least twice as many as current. Some percentage of those...

IDRA 8000 Ton Aluminum Press material concerns with Cybertruck Stainless Steel Material

I know I've heard Elon talking about the issues of working with different materials. I'm not sure he's mentioned this, but I know they talked about different expansion/ contraction based on temperature. Tesla has some pretty good materials engineers working on the truck so I'm not too worried...

    Charging stations.

The guy I saw was pulling a 12 foot U Haul trailer. The 20' trailer would be "Challenging", a 28 foot trailer somewhere between Epic and Impossible. If that parking lot is busy you are just out of luck unless you have god-lick trailer skills.

    Charging stations.

The two pull in SC location near me have one space which backwards on the end which I've seen used for a Model X with a trailer. It is in a tricky place to get a long trailer in and out of. Once you charge, you have to back out of the stall and navigate through a parking lot. Seems to me if you...

Help me solve this Cybertruck Riddle...!

This is my thought too. Unlike many of the other videos they made a point of saying this was legit real footage during the intro. I was wondering about this too. Are you sure it's the dual motor Cybertruck?

Help me solve this Cybertruck Riddle...!

So... I don't think the Rivian is actually 7,000 pounds. According to their site, its a little under 6500 pounds. Maybe some of the configured trucks with off-road gear and the kitchen are that much. No clue how much the Cybertruck will weigh. But if it's going to be classified as a light...

    Charging stations.

I just hope they make the newer ones a touch wider than existing ones. Right now several I go to are a bit on the narrow side even for my Model Y. They will be very tight for the Cybertruck.

    Limited CT Production

Musk has said he expects to produce 250k Cybertrucks or more per year. They probably won't hit that pace until end of first year production though. We might see 100k or less during launch year, then later years it should be 250k+. Assuming start production EOY 2022, that would be 50-100k in...
