Good Evening,
I thought I was having charging problems. I have correct wall mount. Plugged in my truck and gets 48a, but only charges at 24-25 mi/hr. The master tech tested it and said there is an issue and they were going to replace the PCS board (last week). So I picked up my truck today and...
Thanks to this board, I had my truck checked out earlier this week. My CB has been charging only 24/48 since day one (1.5 years) and I thought that was normal because of the larger battery. Anyways tesla stated that the PCS will be replace and I guess under warrantee since it has only 30k on it.
I bought 6" Red Velcro straps from amazon and used them to wrap the pull loop and have one end sticking out. Also, on the tailgate. One can easily pull and release. about $6.
Covers def help! lol. I took mine off because the car washes always moves them and their annoying as hell to reposition them. I guess I could get them ceramic coated.
Thanks Mongo, I only read 24-amp was normal, so this has been going on for 1.5 years! Well, I put in a service request to fix it. Will be great seeing 48-amp charging (and 1/2 the time)
I have a similar issue since I bought my CB. Wall connector is showing 5 led, 60amp. Truck shows 48amp (normal) but only charges at 24amp. That doesn't seem right.
Theres is lots of info on the web, this one is decent:

Mine on CB was quiet until they did some rear motor service. Turns out one of the compressor mounts was broken and maybe the insulation was not put back on. Once they corrected that, the CB was quiet again. The compressor did run, but unnoticeable until you listened for it.
CUPPING seems like the culprit. Bad tire balance from factory or defective tire. I had the same issue with my sport bike. Would have vibrations over 75 mph, which was weird. When I rolled into my garage, the dust on the floor should cupping around the tire. If it was over worn, it would be worn...
