Staying on FSD for long trips has been a piece of cake for years. That's not much more than adaptive cruise control with lane guidance. It's when you get off the big roads that it shines. I'm currently on a 600 mile trip and will probably be over 90% FSD. But I am driving a HW3 car with V12

You really aren't telling the whole story. To have that much Regen, you had a lot of elevation drop. In only about 20 miles, I suspect that your range showed much better as the orange peak rolled off. You had a 75 mile downhill. You can't get that much green on flat land.
