The family (wife and 3 kids) and I took our AWD CT out in the wild to Prewitt Ridge in Big Sur towing our Vintage Trailer Works XTR teardrop style camper. What a trip!

Rig: 2024 Foundation AWD Cybertruck, 35x12x18 Toyo A/T 3 Tires.

Trailer: Vintage Trailer Works XTR. ~1,500 LB without gear, ~2k LBS loaded. Articulating hitch.

Trip Log: 188 miles (from Danville CA)
- 72 miles: Charging stop in Gilroy RENZ LANE (325KW) for ~30 min. Starbucks and snacks.
- I was getting ~620 Wh/Mi on the highway at ~65-70mph.
- 75 miles: Charging stop at King City (250kw) for ~45 min to 100% (305 miles).
- 41 Miles: King City Super charger —> West Coast Ridge Trail.
- 5 miles: Dirt road over-landing to Prewitt Ridge Campground.
- Arrived with ~55% battery (167 miles).

The dirt road in was winding, dusty and has some real off-roading spots… took the truck out of trailer mode and enabled off road mode. No issues.

We camped for 3 days. The only thing the truck powered was our Starlink, which we used to check the incoming weather and the sharks scores (😁). I’d fire it up for a bit then turn it off and enter Low Power Mode. We left camp after 3 days with 142 miles, only about an 8% drain.

It was raining and muddy on the way out and the truck performed great.

Prewitt ridge is amazing (pictures don’t do it justice) and it’s very accessible with the CT range-wise. Can’t recommend this spot enough. Thanks @Urander for the recommendation a while back.

Very nice! I like your style of family camping. If only my parents were so cool, all we had back in the 1970's was a Rambler station wagon pulling a Starcraft pop-up. The rambler bottomed out too easily to go to the really cool spots but we still had a lot of fun.

Ha! Love it. We toured the country in a Astro van. I shared the way back with two large dogs.

These kids have no idea how spoiled they are!!
