Do you have one card registered to both cars, or one card per vehicle?
I usually carry two cards. One does all cars and is the backup for my phone key. Then I grab one for only the car I'm driving.

It’s oddly enjoyable watching people reactions to a ride or watching old geezers get self driven

You're not wrong: having the license-plate on the key means the vehicle will be easy to steal if the card is lost. I shall take great care to avoid losing it. ;)

That's why you should always have the "PIN to drive" activated. Impossible to steal. Especially in a car jacking scenario, and you thought manual transmissions would be hard to steal.

Sometimes, I go back in the house, and leave the car door ajar because I forgot something, and don't have to worry about someone driving off with "PIN to drive."
