It is a bit funny that the writers of the shows used an idea which was last year topical, when there is a 12-18 month production cycle. The impact they were hoping for is definitely way down compared to when they conceived the brilliant vehicle casting choice, which in hindsight is uninspired and cliche now since it is everywhere.

The thing I love about the CT is... Hate it all you want. It's got cameras all over it and it's basically indestructible.

It's the best thing ever.

Also, it's a great indicator of who not to hang out with. If someone is that nuts to hate a car with that much passion, you don't want that in your life.

I have never cared what is "popular" or not in America. The Cybertruck is different to an extreme but it is also the best all round, do anything vehicle I've ever owned. My wife, the kids, grandkids and even our dogs like it but honestly, I'd have bought it regardless. đź–•

I have a CT on order. I look forward to driving my stainless steel urban tank past the libtards and triggering their blue haired hate. The idea that my Cybertruck will be the topic of their next session psychiatrist session warms my heart.

So owning a Cybertruck is now anti-establishment? Antifa must be very confused.

Warning no politics on the political article;)

Group psychology of writers is pretty simple....that explains the issue and further analysis probably unneeded.

My favorite part about this is true of many things...the projection psychoanalysis of other people for why they own things. In the comments on IGN are all sorts of weird projection for what it means to own a Cybertruck but in the end it's just a truck. People own it because they like it. Sure possessions are status symbols but the internal psychology of most things is simple. You see similar debates on "status symbols" but even for very common things like iPhones that some like or dont. The iPhone is the most popular phone in the world and you see people saying it means the person is insecure or sheep.

And of course there is alot of ignorance about what the truck can do fueled by YouTube.

However, at least a real villain would have a cool villain wrap.
