Well I dont take any of this serious but lol , I must say I have zero idea who Scotty Kilmer is, but watching 5 videos on his other content. I dont agree with anything he states in terms of current EV automotive tech. His content is dead on with older automative tech maybe 10-20 years ago ( Toyota V8s and old LSs he seems to be fantastic with ) but current stuff he seems to just not like new EV trucks cars and is not on point with the tech etc for the most part, I think he should get with Sandy Munroe and get up to speed on the EV space. I think his content is just what he thinks as an opinon piece so you cant wrong him for that but as a place of informaiton on cars trucks etc. I cant follow his channel its kinda dated in its perspective. He talked mainly about sales in the video which isnt intresting considering im not a dealer or sell cars for a living.

Im so tired of negative themed content. Great for clicks but exhausting stuff. I have seen thumbnails showing negative themes only to showcase a love for the product. Kinda tiring TBH. Unfllowed alot of folks for the constant negative stuff even beyond CT content. But people eat it up.

to say "the ct is crap" is not any kind of review. its clickbait because you know what hes going to say and you only go in there to feed into your hate/jealously for those who have the CT.

the guy is a maroon. he caters to low-hanging fruit on the web. he's obnoxious, ignorant and cringy. i watched some of his stuff years ago for low -level trash tv -- at some point i enjoyed watching paint dry more, and stopped giving him my time.

i didnt watch this video (I even posted this in another thread because i didnt want to start a new thread on it). he knew talking trash about the CT would level up his clickbait through the roof and the comments on this video ( i skimmed a few) confirm this. hes the white version of tyler perry - not leveling up his game -- just churning out ignorant rubbish that caters to a certain demographic.

I agree, personally Im perfectly fine with someone not liking the CT or anything but to just harp on stupidity and make stuff up or just produce hit pieces because it triggers traffic gets old real quick. Sadly the algorithms on YT and IG are best served with negativity it promotes massive results rather than good positive content. Test it on YouTube it's quite sad.

He has insisted on owning a 20+ year old base model Toyota Yaris car because he's so frugal and uninterested in buying something new just for the sake of it being new. He only recently bought a new Camry hybrid for his wife because she basically forced him to. Of course he's not going to be pro EV of any kind. He's not a fan of the Lightning or Chevy either. He's a multi millionaire not trying to impress anyone else. He likes working on his vehicles.


He's not wrong about his criticisms of EVs though. We can't tow long distance (without taking forever). Sometimes I wish there was a hybrid package option to charge the batteries for driving in remote areas. The shape definitely is polarizing. I can't just drive mine any where I want and not expect to draw unnecessary attention. Even in big cities, I constantly get looks, fingers, yelling and dumbasses trying to race in their diesel shitbox trucks or riceburner/beamers. It's not a vehicle to be incognito in. You stick out like a sore thumb, everywhere you go. I'm not going to blend in with traffic to traffic LEOs and get away with going faster than the flow of traffic.

Dude, you should trade the CT for an F-150. You worry way too much about what others think to be a pioneer.

What's made my enjoyment of my Cybertruck all the more great is all the best* people hate it! I cannot tell you how much extra joy that brings me.

Cybertruck is our generation's Lamborghini Countach.

I got mine thinking this likely will be a let down. I'm beyond delighted that in many ways I could not have anticipated, it's exceeded all expectations and then some. That the right people hate it, is one of those side bonuses that I didn't anticipate. I love that they hate it and will never get it. It's a little private form of justice I enjoy!

I love dispensing this justice. To all those best kind of people that hate it, I like to affirm their view and say , oh it's terrible, you'd hate it. Good thing you never got it! You dodged a bullet there! I also tell them the same thing about where I live. You'd hate it here. Everything is awful Max play to affirm their views. It's almost shamefully satisfying.

*best means something very specific here, and I'll leave it to your imagination as to what that is.
