Anyboby know if they are making the lower bumper grill covers (mesh screens) for the CT? I bought some for the MYP and they work well. The bugs in SF overwhelm the intake area under the front bumper. Also, I noticed considerable debris gets caught up in there. Surprised none of the aftermarket...
What a roller coaster! Second day reserve and thought 79k is reasonable for the Beast. In the end wait was worth it with no regrets even at 130k out the door. It was a fun lapse of time full of surprises. But here we are…time flies.
When I was at the SC for the camera cleaning on Monday I showed the service adviser a copy of the bulletin and he had no clue of the impending modifications. Hopefully they will fine tune the application before installing them. Mine is on solid for now; have driven at high speeds. For me it will...
It appears that the design effect is to prevent rear/forward motion of the light bar. I don’t know how much pressure the rear bolt of the bracket will support upward movement
I pried the side covers of the light bar to take a look. They easily come off with a dental pick. This could be a diy if someone can manufacture the bracket and retainer via 3D Printing. I would just install it myself instead of wasting time taking it to the sc. You need to pry from the top for...
I am going in later today for the camera cleaning. The “You need to get the camera cleaned”.message popped up with Cantrail recall replacement recommendation. I advised SC to delete the Cantrail replacement service for another time.
Why not go to outlets and press the light bar button ( on/off flash). Not perfect but better than the multi-button lightbar ones. Edit: I see you are referencing the front bottoms ones.
There are still FS CBs which have not been called for their lightbar installation. Until the aforementioned fix is supplied to SCs I doubt you will see lightbars at the Tesla shop. Best bet is EBay or Face market place if you need one badly. There are three OEMs in boxes on eBay now.
I would go with the luxe package if it was me. 1k miles is nothing. Can you be assured that if you buy the one on order,it can be resold for the same price? Since it’s just a basic awd, could be a money losing proposition.
