That's what I thought, but the tires are AT tires. Wondering how the owner got these from the road tires. May be a private purchase. Also given the vin is in the 500s, the owner should also have likely gotten the original AT version of the covers
I went to drop off my CT for a service appointment at Fremont Service Center and found another CT with the covers I have not seen before. 500 series VIN so it's not the latest coming off the factory with the revised design. AT tires. After market covers?
Possible I may have missed any recent...
10/10. I must admit I was extremely skeptical of value (the $20k premium) before taking delivery. But oh boy it's a joy to drive! I think automobile industry in the future may be broadly classified as before the CT and after CT - everything is awesome, especially the steer by wire. It's an...
Here's my full question with additional details:

Nice. I have existing Powerwalls with backup gateway (the one that's installed behind the meter, not the explicit gateway) and I have hard time seeing up PowerShare in the App. Have you done the set up yours? Any tips for my case?
I have existing Tesla solar with Powerwalls with a backup gateway (that's installed behind the meter for the whole home backup, not the explicit panel like gateway). I have also recently installed Universal Wall Connector that's powershare compatible. When I try to set up powershare in Tesla...
2 months and >3000 miles - I can vouch that CT is a master piece of engineering! I enjoy it every ride. I am fortunate to not have any significant issues (fingers crossed); although for a vehicle that's innovated on multiple fronts, if someone buys it with an expectation not to have any issues...
Thanks for sharing and saving others from potentially doing the same mistake - appreciate your spirit! As much as I know how much it hurts, don't be so hard on yourself :)
The phantom drain seems real. It's also weird the "estimated time to charge" keeps escalating on Level II (6kW) charger - for example it starts with ~7hrs estimated to go from 53% - 90% SoC, but during the course of the day it ends up taking at least an hour longer if not more. My experience...
Nice. I am considering 70 for windshield and top, but 55 for the front windows and 30 for the rear. If your 70 for front windows doesn't look too dark, I'll consider it (any amount of tint on the front windows is technically illegal in CA btw). Looking forward to pictures and your feedback!
@Carmino and @espresso-drumbeat , thanks for your inputs! Although the difference in performance on paper might not mean significant difference in real use cases, I am also leaning towards Xpel given I was happy with it in the past and it's probably not worth the little risk.
I have good experience with Xpel XR Plus in the past, but my local shop has Llumar IRX that they can install rather quickly. Anyone has experience with the IRX? Are you happy with the heat rejection and low glare?
TIA!
Nice look. How do you like the Llumar IRX tint? Any glare? Happy with the heat rejection? My local shop only carries Llumar but I have experience with Xpel XR Plus in the past that im happy with. Wondering if I should switch or stick to Xpel
