    I'd defer offering that opinion until we see the design. The new Rivian owners have found that the condenser fan blows right over the frunk tub so that in cooling season the frunk does get, if not to BBQ level temperature, quite warm.

    Most of the non-Tesla stations seem to have some sort of RFID card. Fiddling with that isn't really much of a problem (relative to having had to open the frunk and fish out the CHAdeMO adapter). What is frustrating is if you can't find the RFID card.

    At taxpayer expense only to be mown down by vandals and copper thieves. I wouldn't either and i really fear that so many will also feel this way that BEV adoption will be slowed and/or limited because I am very cynical about a workable charging solution for the hoi polloi.

    I'm not so sure about that. Never did an experiment. 2,2,4 Trimethyl Pentane (iso-octane) has a solvently smell for sure but it does not smell like gasoline (of which it is the major constituent) so the aditives in there definitely influence the aroma.
