I noticed this same issue as well, pretty dumb that you can't do that but I bet its due to some type of safety regulation related to the whole range associated with internet controlled switches.
The best part about MyQ* is that it is account based, not vehicle / end unit based. I.e. if you have multiple Tesla's and garage door openers, you only need to buy 1 subscription (that 10 year, $300 offer is reasonable). That being said, it doesn't work everywhere and that's the reason why I...
I have one of those things I got for registering myq to my tesla for $1. Except I don't know how to install to a community gate (I'm the HOA president) because of possibly safety standards. I have WiFi and power access, but not sure if I can program it to the gate which is a genie.
This was due to several reasons, the main one was to prevent people from reselling the CyberTruck reservations. Now that they've removed the no resale clause I suspect it should start getting easier sooner.
I have a smart home and tried to make MyQ work in my case since I already had a MyQ garage opener but I still have a community gate and even though I'm the HOA tech guy I couldn't get the myq smart garage hub to work for the community gate which says its not supported. I just need a mobile...
I was not successful this past weekend in avoiding a roadkill while in my Model Y on FSD 12.5.1.3. Funny enough FSD was driving at 55 MPH and soon as I raised it to 70 MPH this jack rabbit jumps out and went splat. I reduced my speed to 55 MPH after and was able to avoid 2 more possible roadkill...
My hope is that Tesla will go after the early flippers to recover that. If I had known they were going to be that lax about the clause it would've tempted me to flip my order (I had early reservation of around ~4000).
Thanks for looking into it. It might've been on my work PC only :giggle:, which was odd since it was the only website at the time giving me an issue (it has a i7-12800h, with a quadro A2000, on Chrome), I just revisited the website now on my personal PC not causing any issues now. I was...
Thanks for the links, I'll look into that. The website for the product feels extremely slow and broken though, so that's definitely something that needs to be looked at!
That looks really expensive ($2800) for just the mounting kit + awning before you add the tent, not to mention the associated drag and range reduction with a roof-top tent setup. Am I wrong if what I think the $2800 includes. This makes the CyberTent a better choice if I want an integrated setup...
Has anyone been tracking the motor revisions on their Cybertrucks?
I just checked the Tesla EPC parts catalogue and noted the following letters on the vehicle parts which may not be fully indicative of exactly how many changes (a change in another part may force an updated part revision on the...
I noticed the same thing, every single new CT delivery I've seen as of late has the holes to some extent, but not the earlier VINs. It could be a change in the process or wondering if something else has happened.
I did some googling for in-rush current on a vitamix blender, and someone mentioned the inrush current could be as much as 6x the running current, so a 12-13A blender could be drawing up to 80A in the momentary in-rush. Coupled with a long extension cord, means you can easily trip the settings...
I've been checking every CT I've had the opportunity to look at and I've seen that same gap on all of the recent VINs so far. I did see some early VINs (<3000) and those did not have that gap.
After looking more closely, it seems like the fail is on the Pirelli side with 9 sides. Both the Core and Premium Wheels have 7 spokes, and the Goodyear tires have the 7 sides. Only the pirelli tires have 9 sides.
