Hopefully this means they've given themselves ample time to get everything in the production means optimized, I would rather they get it right than rush the product.

I don't know anything about Tesla transmissions, but when driving one have never noticed shifting. The video (https://www.tesla.com/cybertruck) on the Cybertruck ordering page looks like the truck is shifting gears... any thoughts on this?
love the interior side bar and like others, didn't notice the step in the tailgate prior to these "photos." Agree, it's like we're all opening the same gift! Ready for a 2nd quarter update!
I just put in another tri-motor reservation spending nickels to help out.
Also, this thread inspired me to buy the penny stock SNNAF, nickel mining company in Nevada.
The only thing I want changed is the screen to be imbedded in the dash (at least partially), I hate the aftermarket look of the mount.
Everything else about the design I'm absolutely in love with!
Teslas are supposed to anticipate what gear you want to be in for most scenarios in the near future, so while I agree it won't be on the touch screen it won't need to be used nearly as much as we do today.
Doesn't sound like he's talking about lift to me at all, sounds like he's talking about reduced top pressure. Sure, that means less counter-pressure to any lifting force, but isn't lift itself.
I have a question, would it have made sense for the tailgate to have angled in corners to improve...
