Iāve got the same exact setup and you canāt go wrong with it! The build construction is top notch and we used it during the winter here in Tahoe at the resorts and had zero issues. Weāre starting to use it now over the summer for its 2nd season and weāve probably used it over 100 times total...
Is it by any chance losing power at those times or could it be doing firmware updates? We have ours mounted on the outside near the rear of the truck and even with summer temps between 90-105, weāve never had an issue. Hopefully itās something simple.
We spend a lot of time hunting or camping throughout Colorado, Montana, and Northern Nevada. We also have 5 residential black bears that roam our backyard throughout the summer (the HOA doesnāt allow trash cans to be put out until the morning of pickup) and I can say with near certainty, that...
Thanks! Wish I could take credit but Iām a roadie! Younger brother is a big MTB guy out of Prescott Valley, so he found some incredible deals on them for me. Iām loving them, as thereās apparently been a massive upgrade over the last 30 years! šš
To be fair, I donāt use any straps as when you put the front tire over the tailgate, it basically secures itself. We drive from Reno to the Bay Area frequently and over a mountain pass, and weāve never had an issue. If you do want to be extra safe, a ski strap or simple short bungee would work...
Thatās correct. With the amount of traveling I do, along with camping, hunting, over-landing etc., itās been easier to just keep it on. Once the Starlink is in my mounting unit, itās only a 2 minute job to remove 4 bolts, in order to take it off the CT.
There are a lot of different ways, that...
Yes it can, but itās a tight fit. Iām using the large so that I can also store the cables and charging plug with it.
Directly connecting the Starlink to the 120V outlet works for sure. The two big issues for me, were that I wouldnāt be able to use it when charging and then every time that...
Iāve had a lot of luck using the Electrify America App, for times Iāve been unable to find a supercharger. A lot of them are 350 kW as well. Good luck.
Most 4 way hoses have their own pressure gauge, so you should be able to take the readings off it, as thatās what I do with the MORRFlate. The 4 hose gauge reads in tenths and gives you the current tire pressure while inflating. Also, if you over inflate, you should be able to adjust the slide...
Interesting. Iāve never noticed that so Iāll go out and check later today. If thatās the case, once it starts all you should have to do, is then manually adjust it back down to the desired PSI. Iāll report back after I test it.
See post #65 on page 5. Your slide valve on the 4 way hose is probably in the wrong position. Let us know if that doesnāt solve it. š Iām in the South Bay this week and will be out near Ohlone tomorrow night if you want/need to meet.
My experience would suggest not, as weāve done 45,000 miles in 16 months and 99% of it, has been done with super-charging. As of now, we havenāt yet had the dreaded failure⦠knock on steel!
Really appreciate this, as I now know weāre well within the affected range. 45,000 miles in 16 months, with 99% supercharging. Window is unfortunately closing from a warranty standpoint.
