Your faith is well placed, so I wouldnāt worry. Lol
I love ācompletely unnecessaryā and although Iām a āroadieā, Iāve recently lost the battle and joined the ranks of mountain biking, much to my chagrin. Looking forward to stealing ideas from your service kit!
Not sure how logical they are but we somehow convinced ourselves! š¤Ŗ
The bag pictured is the large 5.7L one. I just ordered the medium to put quick access items in.
I think itās more preference than out and out advantages but hereās the reasoning for us:
Concern with possible interference from the metallic coating on the roof, weakening the Starlinkās KU band signal
Limited sky view or partially obstructed view, due to the roof, pillars and the body...
Thatās correct. On V1, you had to use the USB-C port for bi-directional charging. On the new V2, you can use either it, or one of the two DC ports that it now has. Youāre spot on, in terms of the DC charging set up. š
Iāve been running the Starlink since October and havenāt had any issues...
The mount is metal and extremely solid. To remove the mini, itās probably a 3-4 minute job, in order to get it to a second vehicle or to make portable for something like camping.

When you scheduled the drop off or when you dropped it off, have they given you a cost for the repair or any indication that it will be covered, even though youāre over 50K miles? Thanks
We run the AT IIIās on our Sequoia and have for years so I decided to give them a try on our CT and theyāve been outstanding. Had those 2 major storms during the holidays here in Reno/Tahoe where we got 8+ feet and they were everything we expected. Had to go with the non EV version in order to...
To be fair, I donāt plan on breaking down at all⦠knock on steel! During the winters here in the mountains, I end up pulling 5-10 people out a year, during winter storms and they are invaluable with some of the crazies that come into town to ski.
Hereās a list of items I keep in our CT Vault at all times. Itās amazing how much you can actually fit in it! š¤š. Iāll be getting rid of the snow-chains so let me see what youāve got, so I can steal some ideas to fill the space! š
