In addition to the jerkiness (especially on starting, but also with decision-making), its understanding of the actual visual speed limit has taken a step back if thatās even possible.
Can someone explain āGISā and why the CT seems incapable of reading and interpreting road signs? It seems to...
Duh. Iām a dufus . Figured that out when I set the offset to zero (thinking it might be additive to the speed profile) and my CT just kept going āding ding ding ā¦ā. š
If offset does nothing with the new FSD categories, why is it an active choice if the profile is set to FSD? Shouldnāt it be ghosted? If my profile is set to FSD, there is no TACC option (in the old days you could do one push for TACC or two pushes for autopilot).
Like several others on this post, not only does my CT not read the speed signs correctly in many areas in our town, it goes way above the speed limit in ānormal modeā. Posted 25 miles an hour, the CT knew it was 25 miles an hour, but was happily going 35 miles an hour.
Iām wondering with these...
TACC has never slowed down automatically for me when speed drops. FSD occasionally does this, but most of the time it speeds along happily doing 65 in a road that went from 65 to 45. I donāt give it much time before I hit the scroll wheel as I donāt want a ticket, so I donāt know what would...
There are two related but separate issues here. The lack of granularity with the new speed profiles (chill, normal, fast) and the inability to read speed signs accurately. If speed sign reading was accurate, then I think the speed profiles would work perfectly fine, because you would be...
Thanks for the recommendation. Did the exact same thing, and used the magnetic attachment on the side of our center console similar to what you did with the refrigerator. Works great and seems quite stable.
Thanks everyone. I wound up getting a OEM Pirelli Scorpion tire and Tesla rim on eBay, a cover, and a tri-fold lightweight ramp on Amazon. Figured we could use the ramp to help get our E bikes in the bed as well so double use. The only issue is the set up. I have doesnāt have the TPMS., will...
Background: we take frequent 600+ mile trips with our CT. We want to be able to take a spare in and out of bed and are not physically fit enough to move a 100 lb. spare + rim, nor can we handle a tire patch kit. we carry a tire inflator and a bottle of slime. We have pirelli scorpion all...
Oops, sorry, my bad, I missed the word āclosedā. Not sure thatās possible without potentially damaging the bikes. You would need to lay one on top of the other. Maybe separating with thick moving blankets?
See my pics above (first post of this thread). We were able to fit two Velotric discovery 2 E-bikes (72ā long) in the vault using the ride88.com cybertruck E bike rack system. Rear wheel first, clamp it down, turn handlebars, tie front end down. Their system is awesome. If you use it, make sure...
Although the cybertruck bed is listed as 72 inches long, the front of the bed slants towards the rear of the truck, significantly reducing the actual bed length for any raised object like a bike. We purchased an awesome E-bike rack for the truck bed from ride88.com. Itās incredibly solidly made...
Mongo, thanks. so sorry to be a pain. for solar + CT + powershare, if a power outage and NO CT plugged in, I assume that solar does NOT work, correct? So the limitation of this setup is ... power outage and no CT = no solar. Is that right?
