They don’t “make you” pay the down payment electronically. It is an option, if your bank is compatible with Plaid. If not, you’ll have one or two checks at delivery and that is fine. I did it this way when I bought my Model 3. I had one check for down payment and one for the rest.

I’m a Richmond pickup, live right outside of Lynchburg I’m in Lynchburg, Richmond Delivery ( unless I can switch to Raleigh).

That tracks, (the customer who broke down outside of Richmond). You can see the high voltage warning sign in the bed, and I think that gentleman's issue was the faulty wiring harness that has been present on several trucks.

lol, funny you should say this. I called them this morning. I am now told that “ it won’t be that many, and they may have a handful within the next month.” No end of quarter push for the Richmond store is my takeaway.
