I went in hoping to getting the PCS proactively replaced and they “replaced” the cant trail. They didn’t replace but applied updated glue on it. My wrap was still on. And no, they didn’t replace the PCS.

Does Supercharging ‘break’ the PCS? I thought only charging at 40amps L2 does it. I have charged at low SOC and have the truck de-rate to 34kW everytime it goes above 250kW for a few seconds. I don’t know if that’s indicative. I have showed them this and put it on the ticket but they say to...

My Service Center advised me they will not proactively replace the PCS. I charge normally on 24amps at home anyways due to utilizing an existing receptacle which is sufficient for my need.

Does this happen primarily on L2 48 amp charging? Since I charge at 32 and 24 amps max, I wonder if I will encounter this issue.

This has happened to me in different SC sites and moving plugs makes no difference.

Depends what state of charge your truck is at and whether you’ve pre-conditioned for optimal charging. All EV will have a charge curve.
