I might take exception to your belief that the Berlin factory, "...has gone up astonishingly fast." Unless I'm mistaken, everything one sees in the last video represents perhaps 2% of the total factory. Maybe 1%. They have moved a lot of dirt around and have poured maybe 60-footings. The actual...
Bigsur345 brought up some great points, but I imagine the logistics people at Tesla will start ordering stainless the day after an agreement is signed between Tesla and the authorities in Texas. Tesla and SpaceX have huge negotiating power. They won't have any trouble with this commodity. Tesla...
Yeah...I've tried to understand why it to be rock solid, unmovable. Why can't it swivel like a rearview mirror? Not EXACTLY like a rearview mirror...just a tiny, tiny amount of swivel.
Whatever...I hope it is punched out a bit further than the one on my Model 3, AND tilted toward the driver. OR...on a swival so the driver can use it easily and then let it be swiveled back so everyone can watch movies or play games while camping, recharging, etc.
Great graphic and very funny. However, you should have put in a disclaimer. Lot's of good 'ol boys are going to be actually trying to trying to do the same.
Yep. Some good ideas there. I've never really understood if the lines in the bed of the vault are actual grooves or just lines as decoration. As a retired contractor who has carried sand and gravel in the back on my old pickup, it would be impossible to get all the gravel out of the grooves. Not...
Hope someone answers your question. I think the big flat tailgate is just asking for some neat laser etching. I'd like to see what Tesla used to spell out CYBRTRK in oversized font, say six or eight inches high or large enough to run all the way across the tailgate.
Great idea. for the reasons you itemized about the rain and dirt getting into the passenger compartment, I withdraw my suggestion of making the tonneau cover roll up under the glass roof. either has the benefit of providing a temporary sunscreen when the CYBRTRK is parked all day in the Arizona...
I posted these comments elsewhere, but I'll repeat them: I know several guys who are a one-man-gang. That is a single contractor guy who is the sole driver, owner, contractor who has a big galvanized toolbox bolted into the bed of his pickup. How great would it be to have the suggested feature...
Quite right, but with the S.S. rack made by Tesla, it would be easy to assemble the rack just by screwing it into the integrated fittings, and then take it apart when not needed.
Great graphics and workable design except (in my opinion): the front and rear transverse members need to be omitted so as to facilitate the rack being used for long lengths of pipe, lumber, and ladders. Also, with that enclosed rear piece, there is no way to access the top. You'd need a...
