I have 2024.14.7 and a gen3 HPWC with two PowerWalls. Tesla claim I have everything ready for PowerShare. I thought we needed to have the new universal wall connector.
Anyways, I donāt see the PowerShare option in the car or the Tesla app. I checked my Tesla app and itās v4.33.0.
Unsure if my...
Question is, how can the early CT owner who was given the $700 and have not spent it....get the $2500 credit? The $2500 seems more fair for the foundation package value imho. Would be nice to know who to contact at Tesla.
Too bad Tesla didn't come up with a more seamless mount point for their molle panels. So that installed, it doesn't break up the cool bed light strip. Would allow full use of the cargo rails too.
That would have been ideal. I love opening up the vault and see the continuous light strips.
Luckily for me, the rear view mirror isnāt as critical an issue for me. I tow a boat with the old truck. And it blocks the view out back via the rear view. So Iāve learn to rely on the side mirrors more. This naturally maps when I am in the CT so I havenāt missed the rear mirror much.
I can...
Iām not please with that either. The value of the credit should be for Universal Wall Charger + Gateway 3V. Thatās much more than $700. Likely $2000 or more.
Tesla pulled a bait and switch whether they realized it or not.
The original Foundation package included both the Universal Wall Connector and a Gateway v3.
a $700 credit to their store does not equal the same thing. That only covers the Universal Wall Charger. Whoever is running this program isnāt thinking things through.
As a Foundation CT owner, even if...
Right? Whatever millennial running the program isnāt thinking things though.
Foundation was supposed to get both the PowerShare gateway and Universal Wall Connector.
But just because I have PowerWalls and a V2 Gateway that will be Powershared enabled, we only get credited $700? Thatās the...
If you have PowerWalls, then you should have the a Tesla backup gateway installed?
I am in a similar situation. I have Tesla PowerWalls, their gateway and solar. As well has a HPWC.
Tesla reached out and said I have all the elements to use PowerShare. So they gonna credit my account $700 I can...
I can understand the tent negating the usefulness of the molle panels. But I wished the molle panels can be left installed while the tent is installed and deployed.
Perhaps that's a mod to make that happen but would need someone to own both and have this odd desire to make them compatible...
I really like that the Tesla one folds up and is under the tonneau cover. Yet elevated to still allow a garage/storage underneath.
Thats the ideal set up for me so one donāt have to install roof racks diminishing the efficiency when driving.
Also, I like how itās easier to access via the lift...
Update on my earlier post. The new cover Tesla replaced with is uniform and even now. (Taken this morning so thereās still some condensation on the vehicle.)
Looks even to me as I walked around and looked at it from different angles.
The tonneau is metal even though itās texture make it look plastic over metal. So I think the plastic on either side of it may fade first. If one doesnāt put trim dressing on it.
I dropped the CT off this morning for them to take care of the issue. I asked if they will be replacing just the affected slates or the whole Tonneau cover.
Now itās the afternoon and the update is they are replacing the entire cover. And the tech is taking his time to ensure itās all done...
The rear flap that was partially unattached was the cover for the hitch. It's designed to be put on or pulled off. Looking at the video, it didn't look like it was damaged so I bet he could have just pressed it back into place.
I see a number of ppl already said they have the same issue in this thread. I didn't count up but perhaps do a poll? Those who don't have the truck yet, please try your best to not be dismissive or add too much noise as us CT owners track down to see if it's whether it's a one off issue...
Your comments on reaction from the public mirrors mine exactly.
Public reactions have been overly positive. Lots of selfie taking. Some people would ask if they can take photos. Others do it steathily, but you can see them.
Many ppl driving by on freeway have rolled down their window to give...
I think it's the same one I got. I shared a photo somewhere on this forum. Here it is again incase you guys want to see a closer look. I was uncertain with the way the center cap show online...but I think on the CT, it works fine. The kids and I like it. Hopefully the angle perspective gives you...
I actually like that middle area clear on the truck. You see, sometimes you find youself in places or situation where parking is tight. So you end up parking hugging one side or the other, usually against a wall or something. And it's handy to have the option of stepping over and go through the...
