Where are you at "in line?" I could believe 15k CTs next year just because there's more to do. When Elon came out and said during the earnings call that CT production will be difficult because its a new architecture, that says a lot about where they're at.

You've got a few sides to this. On the one hand they don't formally delay CT, yet they DO delay Semi. On the other hand, you've got Elon saying there's still work to be done on 4680 and that CT production will be the most difficult (when unveiled in 2019 wasn't is supposed to be easier?)...

When he said this it pretty much killed any hope I had of CT coming this year. We're probably more than a year out on any type of production. The last 10% takes 90% of the time.

Important to remember reservation numbers appear to include ALL Tesla reservations. Subtract a bunch from your "number." :)

Agreed. I have both on preorder and will likely be a game time decision. To me, the range difference is big, but is it worth 20k? Maybe they'll throw something else in to entice.
