Tesla is actually pretty good, responsive with lemon law/buyback term. I think it's a good approach to prevent lawyer cost + unnecessary time wasting for both sides.
If the CT is going to be in the shop for more than 30 days, just kindly ask them in the chat/app that it would trigger lemon law...
I think a part of the problem is service center.
There's only 1 service center in McAllen/Brownsville area. Everytime I bring the truck in to fix 1 issue, they create another.
I had a 24 foundation AWD, drove to 20k miles with rattle here n there, vibrating mirrors, not a huge problem for me...
You definitely should drive the Beast before making the purchase, especially since the price hike with Luxe package, I don't think it's worth it to trade your FS AWD to Beast. (you'll loose money on the FSD)
I drove in my friend's Beast before, since this is a big/heavy vehicle, I don't really...
Thanks everyone for the help, took delivery today, 4 mile, built date August 2025.
Looks like the roof is a different material now. Driver side mirror is not vibrating that much compared to my old FS. Motor is a lot quieter and seems to be more responsive. My dad also has a FS CT, the motor is...
Would you be able to send the screenshot for the FSD transfer on your order?
My rep keeps saying that it should be an option on the app if it’s available. Since it’s not showing up on the app, FSD can’t be transferred.
Well it’s easier for me since there’s no loan.
I’m still waiting for confirmation if FSD can be transferred from Foundation Series.
If you buy under business there is $7500 commercial tax credit.
Also $1k loyalty credit
so probably around 10k loss on a 19,000 mile/1 year old truck
if FSD can...
Just got in app offer for 69,900 - 18,500 miles.
They also said that after market item may cause lower trade in value. Going to remove the step bar and submit new pictures tomorrow.
New car smell next week hopefully :))
I would do that, not much loss after 18k miles of driving.
The newer one seems to have better build quality. We got dad a CT December 2025, it drives much smoother and motor is quieter compared to my FS CT.
My SC is 1 hr away so I don't really want to bother with little things.
This is not bad. I'm planning to trade in my 1 year old, FS AWD 18k miles, initial trade in quote is 79k, if they actually give me 72k it's still good.
Planning to get a new AWD w/ core wheel at 80k, free transfer FSD + get another $7500 on commercial EV credit.
All I'm loosing is 1k on tint...
I guess this is the double digit number 1XX ^_^
A kind member on this forum sent me a copy of his key and it didn't work for my set.
Good thing Tesla sent out a replacement set, I was able to check the differences on the key.
Tbh, worrying about someone stealing the crossbars would be the...
Lol I’ll attach a pic as proof.
Joking aside, if anyone is kind enough to make a copy of the key I’m willing to pay for your trouble. Please PM me, thank you!
Does anyone know if we could order a set of replacement key? I misplaced them on a trip and now couldn’t put them back on. Support has not responded for 2 weeks :/
If anyone is kind enough to make a copy of their key set I could pay to have it made n shipped.
Thank you!
