I purchased an AWD in late December 2024 VIN 5567X. FSD with. 23,400 miles so far and going strong.
Other than the PCS being on the list (no issues yet) and I notice the motor "whine" noise (not an issue with sound system on) less than 30 mph I have no road noise, rattle, etc that I would...
I have ~22k miles and no PCS issue (yet) although my PCS is on the "bad" list. My home charger is 60->48A 240VAC and I can charge at work at 240VAC 30A.
I rarely supercharge as the other 2 are free. I *can* set these down to 24A charge rates if needed.
I'm aware that the recommendation to...
The EE in me is asking how hard is it to get the PCS card/board out and inspect for cold solder joints.. I'm good with a soldering iron. Hahaha.. I'll leave that one back in the toolkit. Thanks for the comments. 3rd party suppliers and quality of "product in" is often a big issue for vendors...
My experience : 54 too hard, 52 not quite soft enough, 50 perfect, 48 not quite hard enough 46 too soft. This from taking a nail in one, repairing it, and having the repair leak 5-10 PSI a day until I got it sealed correctly. Pirelli cores.
Team Cybertruck:
I upgraded my bumper and runners and as such - offering these as is to anyone that wants to pick them up .
If close by I will deliver for the electricity to drive them to you.
I'm going to offer them to the service center when I get some service in the next month as the...
1. Lane changes are annoying as said above. Nudges can work with turn signal. Sometimes left turn lane is used through 3-lane stoplight when navigation is straight (random).
2. Speed via thumbwheel is missed. (+5 , -5). In any mode.
3. Varied navigation path based on TOD (would be nice to...
I have noticed intermittant "get into left hand turn lane" when straight through is needed. Since V13.
Also some intermittant behaviors around my workplace dealing with security gates, and stop signs in parking lots alongside access roads confusing FSD. I'm feeding back as many insults as I can!
I've had my AWD since 2024 Dec and never been to a Service Center. Will get there to check out cantrail recall when the weather warms up. No issues. 18,000 mi.
I've done it and it works. I have a whip from my generator which is backup option #2. Just need to get an adapter to get from the whip to the cybertruck bed outlet.

Out of curiosity today I just saw my charge at 85% (I use % not mi) and clicked to miles and got 270 mi range. If my math is correct that is telling me BMS says 100% is ~318 mi. I have about 18,000 on this 2024 dual AWD. So, yeah, concur, 4680 just keeps on going...
That what this does. Dump into a battery and when parked pull battery plus whatever it rakes into the truck. I don't see this ever getting more than 1000-1200Wh capability within the footprint of the truck. I can get a few kW a day but with a 123kW battery and vamp drain it does not feel like...
I dump the PV into the 12V battery in the vault when driving. When I plug it in it can pull from the battery with the extra store as well as anything new coming in. Agree - ideal solution is a 48V DC charging input (a plug?) that can be fed from a solar accessory.
I've been meaning to reply sooner but I am just getting data on this and it is a prototype. I'm working on v2 as I evaluate V1. This is 600W. I have it feeding a 3500kWH 12V battery that is inverting into the charge port. It can do 5A for 4-6 hours.
Battery and Solar MPPT + Inverter are in...
I have no worries here. And the latches can be adjusted. This is like a non-point.
If you are a jerk and back into a tree like me, then you CAN damage the tailgate. And STILL adjust the latches. I'm running fine with mine and waiting until I can scrap up a new tailgate near me more cheaply...
