Hi Redfire,
First, thank you for sharing your video, incredible helpful. Quick question, what's the gap between the windshield and the light bar? I had mine installed and I have 3.95 mm gap, but Tesla says it should be around 1 mm.
Thanks,
Personally, I would prefer to have a simple accent light bar under the windshield like the prototype. It's impossible to use it even at 1%, it blinds the heck out of you.
It looks like, but it is just the glue, it has a thick layer. My concern is the gap and I'm surprised they didn't cover the gap like you would do to a window, sink or bathtub.
Hello, Yesterday we got our light bar installed. Beyond stoked. Quick question, we have a 3.56mm gap between the windshield and the light bar, according to Tesla specs, it shouldn't be more than 1 mm. For those that have the lightbar, did you measure it?? See pictures below.
Hi Beastew, did you measure the gap between the windshield and the light bar? mine is 3.95 mm. I'm wondering because Tesla says it should be only 1 mm
Thank you
Did you measure the gap between the windshield and the lightbar? I got mine yesterday and i have 3.95 mm or 5/32 inch. According to Tesla, it should be flash and about 1 mm gap.
Thank you,
Couple of questions, (just placed the order by the way)
1 - They come in a pair right? the order is x1 but Im assuming includes for both mirrors.
2 - What is the return policy?
Thank you,
I didn’t get a spare; I’m using one of the OEM wheels I already have. I’m not planning to get rid of the OEM set.
Make sure the wheel you choose has the appropriate load rating. Mine is rated at 3,640 lbs, which is significantly higher than the Unplugged Performance wheels
