Crissa, a related question: Say a battery (Not necessarily CT's, yet a Lithium-ion non the less) took 4 hours to charge 2-Hours from zero to 80% and another 2-Hours form 80%-100%. Given that assumption is it also cheaper to charge to only 80% compared to the charging costs for the last 20%...
A lot of good points FutureBoy, There may be another problem with the "Subscription" only allocations. A vehicle that has the durability to last many years should be bought and held so that it can be modified for work or play and a one time investment like a refrigerator or washing machine. Why...
I contacted Tesla over a year ago regarding flat towing, behind a MotorCoach, their other vehicles that were in production at that time. There response was simple and polite: Absolutely no, zero flat towing allowed.
It would be interesting to see the reaction now if you were to pull up, front and center, with your new Model 3 to the local RAM Dealership and ask to see, sit in and test drive a TRX :) Enjoy, hope it all works out.

In comparing the 1.) EGO Z6...
With well built, with sound technology and if affordable: I will gladly trade out the little diesel excavation fleet for All Electric. Easy to use and easy to maintain through the winter months. The only issue is charging ability/efficiently on job sites with no power available.
Glad you wrote this Quicksilver......For additional information that may help put things into perspective, I hope all on board here will link to: "PlateClimatology.com" and either read or at minimum watch the video. Looking forward to practical EV's and also freedom of choice.
Ford hasn't had a suitable motor for years, maybe electric will save them. Cybertruck's structure, durability, longevity would be a bonus to all the current tin foil manufacturers.
