With or without aux tanks?

Thanks for the help understanding this.

I have two Tesla’s a Model S and a CT. I did not want to carry two Tesla keys, so I got one of the keys for the model S and made it a spare key for the CT. It worked just fine. so now one key two vehicles.

I picked up my CT Christmas eve, and I have one question? Why is my charging speed about half what it is on my model S. On my model S I achieve 44MPH charging speed but on the CT it’s only 28MPH. Does this have something to do with the batter architecture? Thanks for the info.
