I use 110V outlet in garage for my daily charging to cover my commute to work and suck, as I did with my ModelY.

I see 12-ish% SOC gain overnight (8hour minimum) which is plenty for me.. only marginally less than what I saw in ModelY charge overnight…

all depends on what you need. I am pleasantly surprised and happy

I picked up my CT Christmas eve, and I have one question? Why is my charging speed about half what it is on my model S.

On my model S I achieve 44MPH charging speed but on the CT it’s only 28MPH.

Does this have something to do with the batter architecture?

Thanks for the info.
Why does it take longer to fill up a Blackhawk than an MD500 ?

That’s weird, I charge my truck when it’s sitting still.

Am I doing it wrong ?

That is why you cannot look at miles, it is different for every car and driving condition.
That's why you look at miles. Because it's different for every car.

Battery size. All three of our Teslas charge at the same rate.
It's not the battery size that makes it charge up slower. It's the efficiency that it drives at that changes the miles per kWh speed.

That's what caused the OP to be confused to begin with. Look at kw then there's no confusion.

In a nutshell, like others have said, check to see what charge rate you are getting in kW. If you are getting the same kW rate on both rides nothing is “wrong” with your Cybertruck or unit you are using to charge them with.

And if you read between the lines of my reply, that's basically the same thing ;)

I mean, yes, but also...

Like, a Standard Range won't charge 'faster' in miles but will in 'percent charged' because AC charging is basically the same kW value vs a 'Long Range' version.

And it's apparently something actual people who aren't you are confused about.
