I got mine installed with the new adhesive last month. No brackets (sorry to report). Nervous about taking it through a car wash and it hasn't been that hot here in MO since I got it installed. Unless you drive 100mph it seems plenty bright though.
I have that one, it is great. Install isn't awful, but check this forum, there are lots of tips.
Main pros for this are you can see into the bed or use it with the tailgate down, you can see behind you when the side view camera comes on for turns, and you can change the angle of view from the...
Not worth it. I have a rider with Travelers for 50 dollar deductible on glass. I have 1500 deductible otherwise, and comprehensive coverage is only 333 per year of 1500 per year for full coverage with expanded liability and Um/uim.
I say its a bug! I hate bugs! Bug bug bug!
My grampa used to hate the bug on his VCR that ejected the tape and not his seat like his old WW2 plane eject button did. If you don't understand the equipment, anything can be a bug I reckon.
My current seat cover has the zip ups as well but my big dog can get excited! 4knines has some door panel covers as well, I just saw them. I'm probably going to order the one with the hard floor as my current one is just a hammock over the gap and not very stable.
I actually think I got a different set, I just copied what came up when I searched for them on Zon. The plastic slats slide between the window and the rubber gasket on the door. The ones I have came with some velcro to hold them in place which I left on my prior truck. They can move if my dog...
Great tip, thanks! I tried a couple of the ones with headrest pockets made for the CT but they were not well made and ripped. I keep a Duluth trading one in my backseat for my doggo, but that vent for A/C would be a game changer for her. Does it protect the rear screen or do you use a screen...
You clearly have a weak mind. (Like me.) PSA--Whatever you do, DON'T drive a cyberbeast. I traded my AWD for one after a year of ownership.
Welcome to the club! The negativity is partially due to Elon's politics, but even before that the media loved to hate it. Pretty typical with anything so...
They do look cheap. Surprised the vent seats work so poorly in the CT, I have had them in other vehicles and they were spectacular, or as my wife says, not overrated.
After a week with the ugcovers that started this thread, there is a big difference in cooling. So much so that I run the A/C a...
agree that they should have! But the truck wanted more juice faster. I configured the Tesla chargers but the truck didn't listen. I had a couple of older Bosch chargers that I couldn't configure which is how I learned the truck trick.
I set up two new tesla chargers and had to adjust the charging flow inside the truck- it kept pushing the breakers. Until I set it, it was pulling way too many amps for the charger- I have 40 amp breakers, I shut it down to 32 amp draw in the truck and no more problems. Once it was set right i...
I bought some sill lights with a 1 year warranty. One is broken and I have been emailing them for two weeks. They asked for pictures, then never responded.
First owner of my truck replaced the tactical grey panels with white, which I dislike. I was trying to cover the white door panel with another color. In taking it off, I seem to have zapped one of the two ambient lights that light up the strip in the door. Tesla can't seem to locate a part...
do the beltline panels have the lights in them? Silly question, but I need one now and would prefer the gray panels as the first owner of my truck put the white ones in.
I have the Hannshow v2 and it is useful for me.
Tailgate down, or if I Want to see into the bed I can, easily. The rear resolution is good as well.
Making turns, I can still see what is behind me.
The rearview mirror was useless anyway.
I tend to agree about the front camera being unuseful...
HP isn't the issue, I've towed a dual axle trailer with a tractor on board with both and didn't feel the weight with either. Range is almost the same full or empty, the issue is drag. My trailer gate folds up for transport and even though it is wire mesh, it drags like a brick wall.
