Door panel removal on the Cybertruck

I dropped the side mirror plate into the door too during install. I gave up on that and after a month of hearing it rattle in the door on closing, I finally was able to fish it out with a metal hanger, a head lamp and a half hour of shear patience. It terrifies me to disassemble a door like...

    Cold Feet- CT or MX?

I own and enjoy both. If I had to pick for the kids I’d buy the CT. For the wife, an X. For me, the CT.

Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

I just got mine installed today for $3300. Through QMerit. First bid was $5500 and I told them to look at it again. It was seriously 4 hours of work for 2 guys. Could easily be a $900-$1200 job. I just wanted it done TBH. Now I’ll be waiting on how long it actually is before it goes live and on...

Small / cramped rear seat area -- true?

I’m 6’2” and have a 2022 F150 and AWD CT. With my driver seat set to drive position in both, I loose 2” approximately in the rear. However, there is actually more leg room by several inches in the center seat position under the rear screen in the CT. It angles under and toward the front where as...

Hack to ride “VERY HIGH” suspension mode at all times?

Just get the CybertruckCo lift rod kit. They’re $80 and it’ll give you another 1.125 and 1.25 in front and rear in medium. They’re great. I’ve been driving with them for a few months now and have a post here too if you want to check out. Here’s the link to buy them. I’ve had no problem in High...

$5500 refund for foundation owners that got core wheels and tactical gray interior

How can anyone expect Tesla to have told a group of buyers, that wanted tactical grey and all season tires, that those would be lesser for non FS CT’s that hadn’t been optioned by other buyers yet? That isn’t a lack of due diligence on their part, nor their problem. What am I missing?

Installed - Hansshow Cybertruck Running Boards Side Steps

They asked me within just a couple of days of ordering if I wanted to pay to have them flown for an additional charge or shipped. I replied that they should just ship them. 19 days later, I followed up because I had not received a tracking and they offered the same thing, but I told them that...

Spotted Non-Foundation Series Cybertruck at supercharger

Personally not a fan of those covers and the tire. Super plain, just doesn’t match up to the lines of the CT. The A/T look way better IMO, drive great and look so much better with or without the covers.

Installed - Hansshow Cybertruck Running Boards Side Steps

None at all. You loosen 4 of the bolts that hold the side plastic panel on and the kit includes longer ones with an insert. Super easy.

Installed - Hansshow Cybertruck Running Boards Side Steps

Got these in yesterday and installed them. It took 1 hour 20 minutes. Overall I’m pretty happy with them. I’ve got the 2” lift rods from CybertruckCo too so I’ve been looking forward to getting some side steps. Definitely easier for my 3 year old to climb in and out. Plus I prefer dropping into...

32.5.4 fixed the wiper location issue

I can’t believe this is what we get for getting our windshield wiper motor recall issue taken care of, even when I had zero issues. I can’t believe others are experiencing this too. I honestly hoped it was just me and I’ve been ignoring it. ?
