  1. Power Conversion System Failure

Now it’s my turn for this. I’m able to charge at only 24 amps. I can supercharge. Service mode shows this: I love my CT. But the recalls and fixes and trips to the service center are getting tiresome. OTOH, FSD drove me to and from LA from San Diego flawlessly!
  2. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

I’m using FSD on every trip now. On two seemingly random turns (one left and one to the right) it made a sudden mid turn correction when usually it is very smooth. I’ve no idea what it “thinks” it sees, but it is a tiny bit unnerving. Other than that, I’m happy being driven around.
  3. First drive on v14… speeding then hit a shopping car while parking

I appreciate honest factual posts. Thank you. I could really become complacent and overconfident because my experiences have been really good. Posts that share their not so favorable experiences remind me that this is still a maturing technology. Learning from others experiences is smart...
  4. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

The CT drove me to Vons in heavy morning traffic, parked head in, backed out and drove toward home. But, it still pulls into the right hand turn lane leading to a shopping center instead of the proper right hand turn lane onto the Main Street about 40 yards further. When arriving home it parked...
  5. 3D printed MagSafe charger

I just slide the phone toward the side or the middle, breaking the magnetic hold and lift the phone up. It’s pretty simple. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I really like it!
  6. My DRL light bar wrap by Cyberswag (letters cutouts)

That’s a good thought. I wonder if you could actually read the letters with the light on (is it too blinding to make it legible?)? The vender can make custom cut outs too to suit your individuality. My wife joked about those with “MY BMW” license plates…how creative! Not…
  7. My DRL light bar wrap by Cyberswag (letters cutouts)

I would say yes to removing the DRL, which involves also removing the front panel of the Frunk. Here’s a very good video Once removed, bring the DRL inside and clean it and have a helper keep sone tension on the wrap as you center and apply the wrap. the wrap covers the top and bottom of the...
  8. My DRL light bar wrap by Cyberswag (letters cutouts)

Just sharing the best $30 spent so far… https://cyberswag.us/products/cybertruck-light-bar-wrap
  9. Cybertruck turning stalk - DIY 3D Print

I’m not exactly “refusing the change…” I’m open to trying new things and seeing what I prefer. And at first blush, I think I’ll like this change to the joystick. I can activate with my palm as well as my thumb. This allows different hand positions on the yoke. Really, I like to have FSD do all...
  10. Cybertruck turning stalk - DIY 3D Print

I just used some 3M foam tape. It would seem to work well for a trial run and if necessary I could use some stronger adhesive.
  11. Cybertruck turning stalk - DIY 3D Print

I just printed and installed. I think I am really going to like this! I put mine over to the far left edge allowing my big fat thumb to left and right click the scroll wheel easier. Thank you!!
  12. TRON mode…I freaking love it!

I love that Tesla has a sense of fun and humor! I too want FSD 14 and PowerShare but I very highly doubt that the same teams are working on fart sounds and FSD. Though if I were working on something highly technical and world changing, playing with farts would be a welcome stress reliever!
  13. Lemonade Insurance makes Tesla offer to insure FSD miles for "almost free"

I totally get your (and my) frustrations. I don’t understand AI much at all, FSD even less so. But I’m hoping a general solution to our issues is on the way. It is getting better and better.
  14. Lemonade Insurance makes Tesla offer to insure FSD miles for "almost free"

Disappointing ? Sure. Previously, FSD wouldn’t enter my long driveway. Version 13 fixed that! So I am hopeful that they will eventually fix all my individual personal driving area quirks. But overall, I’m still very happy with the progress!
  15. Charging on Level2 limited to 24A after recent update

Is this on a Universal Wall Charger or a High Powered Wall Connector? I recently replaced my two Gen 2 HPWC for a Gen 3 and a UWC in anticipation for PowerShare. The UWC was being very finicky about the CT (handshake/communication issues). But it charged the other cars without issue. The...
  16. Lemonade Insurance makes Tesla offer to insure FSD miles for "almost free"

I would estimate that FSD can drive me 95% of my driving without intervention. One nuisance mistake it always always makes is attempting to turn into a shopping center (which has its own turn lane) instead of the upcoming main road. Other than that, very good. if that 95% was essentially...
