Thank you Gurule92. Itās baffling to me how this came up for us. I donāt think Iāve heard of any other Washington State ones. Oddly enough I went to see one in person at the Bellevue Square showroom last week.
We just got our invitation for a Foundation Cybertruck, and did at least some of the steps to continue with it. We are RN112871xxx and I was surprised to be invited already.
We did all the configuration steps and supplied driverās license images, ID selfies.
I didnāt manage to get a screenshot...
Thatās for sure! Iāve been hoping for that and really curious about how trailer-backing would be controlled⦠probably best if the CT calculates the best path and is aware of the trailerās size and axle distance. It would be impressive to watch.
I did see that video, but the crabbing was so brief I wasnāt sure it was really controlled by the driver.
In this CARWOW video the Cybertruck is taunted by a Hummer EV (who crabwalks), and even though a Tesla engineer was present, there didnāt seem to be a way for the user to make CT to do it...
I didnāt know that. I think I heard that rear wheel steering (to reduce turning radius) only occurred at lower speeds. So, for lane changes it just kind of slides in?
