Found a paper in the truck that said the vehicle was made on 14 March but failed initial drive test. They had to torque the brackets holding the motors and completed repairs on 18 March.

Texas offers Tesla insurance so I started a separate policy with them. It is month to month so once I take delivery I will cancel and switch to regular policy. It was expensive at $266 a month. Hopefully my normal policy will come in lower with a house and multi car discount.

Just be aware, if you are picking up in Texas you will have to have insurance in Texas. Caused a little problem when I called my agent to add the CT when my current policy was from another state.

Yep, supposedly my CT is still at the factory. Will pick up in Dallas, hopefully next week.

There are 3-4 just in Kansas ahead of me. I got tired of waiting today so took a chance and switched to my Texas address(military) and got my vin about 1hr later. Now I wait for delivery.

No VIN yet. I have taken delivery a couple of times from KC Store with no issues. Not sure about the Tulsa store. I did call them and they said I could switch to the KC store if I wanted.

Yeah, I don’t care about money either but would like to get $1-2k more to feed my kids for a couple of months after I spend all our money on the CT. Resale value has an impact on your bank account regardless when you decide to resell but agree a larger one when you sell after a couple of years.

I did the same in December was to good of a deal not to upgrade. Now I am trying to sell my 21 before my CT arrives.
