Upper 40's temp, off road tires without aero cover wheels, loaded with passenger/dog and luggage for trip, speed not limited to 70-75 as I saw 79 on video plus pouring rain most of the way with elevation.
Normal trip for many/ 'real world' understood but until I (or another) can compare same...

Interesting video by DennisCW today (posted here) about off roading and using Baja mode. He 'did some fun stuff' and perhaps pushed some limits and the CT went into limp mode/locked out of Baja mode. It put up 'a bunch of error codes' on the screen, which are depicted on video (50+)...
Per Joe's original tweet on X, I perhaps wishfully thought they were in the process of transitioning to the 955 chemistry at the end of December with those two other tweaks coming sometime in 2024...
Agreed. They stopped/stunted 4680 Model Y production to get the battery reserve for CT. I literally guess it will be anytime the switch to the 955 upgrade.
Drew Baglino saying that batteries were not the CT ramp bottleneck and in fact had “ weeks” of battery supply ahead of CTs makes me believe they are not close to the next battery chemistry upgrade.
Would that supply statement change your read?
I thought the same way Coltpete (edit: about passing on pick up with a check if my build just missed the 4680 chemistry upgrade) but then realized what would an extra 16-34 miles really mean to me? If I really need an extra 100 miles or so I could take advantage of the bed battery end of year...
The key card need not touch anything when it registers on the B pillar from the outside or just lie flat on the inside center console area if its like other Tesla models.
