I think if the Hummer EV had the NAC port and utilized the Tesla charging system it would be more tempting but until then, I feel like it and other EVs have that big drawback.

I agree, it’s already all over the place with who’s getting them as reservations numbers are not the only way they are selecting holders to configure, never mind people taking two when others are still waiting.
