  1. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

I have towed for several years. As I said above, we are looking at extreme cases. Do you even understand what 10,000 lbs vertical load on hitch means? Think of someone doing 5 feet jump with a trailer that weighs 10,000 lbs. Think of severe sway that completely twists the trailer, thereby...
  2. Ducati Panigale successfully loaded in CT! Post your motorcycles in bed

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I’ll put the Motorcycle without the platform and see whether I really need to build one like this.
  3. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

Why are you so blindly believing in what the author of this video says? You mentioned in the previous post that Steel is superior to Aluminum as Steel has higher margin of error and low fatigue point. “Margin of error” is highly nuanced - it’s not a simple “bend” or “break”. In some...
  4. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

So, the best folks to ask whether Steel is better than aluminum alloy is to ask ICE Truck OEMs who use Steel? What do you expect, lol? We live in a world where even double blind research results can be tweaked based on who is funding the research, and I don’t say this lightly! Numbers don’t lie...
  5. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

I already busted the myths in the video in one of the earlier posts. The video is half baked engineering facts. No real world “normal” towing will ever exert 10,000 lbs of vertical load limit on the hitch. I even mentioned that this is equivalent to a fully grown African elephant standing on the...
  6. Ducati Panigale successfully loaded in CT! Post your motorcycles in bed

Nice! I’m thinking of the exact same setup. Could you please share closeup picture of the front wheel chock mounted on the plywood? What ramp did you use to mount the bike? Thanks! ?
  7. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

I have bashed Tesla for the right seasons multiple times in the past. Bring datapoints from real world testing to claim that the Chassis will fall apart over extended period of time, and I’ll trust your point. I’m always open to accept new theories. People don’t understand how towing works...
  8. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

lol! That’s your comparison? You missed the other major recalls ?. I never said the Truck is perfectly built by rocket scientists. I just got my front drive unit changed for some rumbling sound. There is always room for improvement and recalls do happen, especially for a completely high-tech...
  9. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

lol, and 3) Some Cybertruck owners who see through the BS will have to intervene and call it out! ?‍♂️ I’m sure the skeptics will add point 4) to this list ? To the skeptics - I said this one and will say this again. It’s not aluminum, it’s aluminum alloy!! Big difference. Not all metals are...
  10. Cybertruck makes adults act like kids - watch the end!

lol! Very cute. I guess this is what happens if people stop watching news! ?
  11. New Low End CT has much better range but is that mainly wheels and Tires?

On the contrary, I’m surprised that removing two motors and reducing overall weight by $500 lbs will give only 42 miles of extra range! Tri-motor Beast gives 320 miles with AS tires. If you just look at RWD on its own, 362 miles for 122 kW battery on a 3 ton truck is actually very good.
  12. Buying a used FS…AWD or CB?

This is a very personal choice. Both vehicles are incredibly good. Your mind gets tuned to the driving dynamics. I rarely use Chill mode in my Beast. It’s an INCREDIBLE driving experience. If you are someone who enjoys nice acceleration, then Beast will absolutely not disappoint you. If you are...
  13. Long Range RWD Cybertruck launched! 362 miles range w/ soft tonneau ($62,490 w/ tax credit)

I agree! It looks like you ordered RWD. Congratulations! I’m sure you are going to love it.
  14. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

Just for comparison, a fully grown African elephant, which is the largest land mammal on the planet, weighs 12,000 lbs. Now just imagine what will happen to your vehicle when you are driving on the road, hit a bump, and suddenly an elephant completely steps on the Hitch with all its weight. Your...
  15. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

But please be cautious before blindly accepting the facts in the video. He says when you Brake hard, the entire weight of the Trailer is on the hitch. That’s simply not true. Vertical load transfer is different from horizontal load transfer, and nobody with sane mind will tow single axle 11,000...
  16. Make Her Famous

lol, while simultaneously fixing the wheel cover! ? Unlike the thread of Butt rubbing chic, I’m glad it didn’t take us 15 pages of brainstorming to identify of the gender of this CT hater. ?
  17. Cybertruck hitch analysis by Engineering Explained

I just flew in Boeing airplane that’s probably a few decades old. I felt safe flying at 30,000ft in those aluminum wings. ? Not all alloys are created equal. I trust engineers in Tesla who are way more smarter than me in material science! My only takeaway from this video - CT’s Steel body will...
  18. Cybertruck was the 5th bestselling EV in 2024

Absolutely! Tesla/Elon hate is clearly visible in CT sales, but eventually when enough CTs are on the road, people will see CT for what it is - an incredible machine! That’s when we will see CT sales spike! I hope to see as many CTs on the road as possible. That’s the only antidote to the hate!
  19. Long Range RWD Cybertruck launched! 362 miles range w/ soft tonneau ($62,490 w/ tax credit)

Nope I don’t have that issue, and I’m very picky on noises and rattles. I had motor rumbling noise at 5mph acceleration, but Tesla fixed it by changing the front drive unit. The sound was so low that they had to bring a different technician with dog ears to detect the sound ?. Out of Spec has...
  20. Long Range RWD Cybertruck launched! 362 miles range w/ soft tonneau ($62,490 w/ tax credit)

I don’t see any issues with my Beast. The motor whines a bit, but it’s way quieter than my previous R1T dual motor. In fact R1T rattled and made squeaky suspension noises all the time! Beast is top notch built.
