I had a very similar situation when picking up my new 2016 MX, a growing crack on passenger side windshield found on the second day. The crack was very smooth without any chip point, so the service center replaced the windshield under warranty.

Below is my setup, which is not working. My plate number is showing on my bill instead of the transponder number. And this is another setup, which is also not getting any transaction. Does anyone have a working mounting location? Thanks in advance.

Hi @loki , is you Fastrak tag working normally? I have mine mounted vertically at the same spot but on the passenger side. My FasTrak statement is only showing my plate number, not the tag number, without multiple occupants discount, so I assume it is not working.
