85MPH? That consumes a lot energy! The power consumption is roughly proportional to the wind resistance, which is square of the speed. So compared with 65MPH, you need (85/65)^2~1.7x energy! So don’t drive too fast unless you have to.
I got one last year and tried to install it by myself. Sounds easy, but I couldn’t take the front camera out as shown. I will give another try this year when the weather gets better.
That makes me wonder that all these thrilling stories about Tesla were not true. They just try to discredit Elon Musk, as so many AI videos on YouTube!
I got “take control immediately” many times for whatever reason, and I can safely and calmly took over. I don’t see any problem with that, unless you got distracted or panic.
I also think Tesla should launch a counter-suit against those crooks including their lawyers so nobody dares do those nonsense to abuse the legal system!
Before I bought my CT, my wife was joking with me: “we need to buy a new house with bigger garage”. When I got the CT, I tried it and I could manage to squeeze it in, with about 1 foot room!
About the politically motivated acts, the mainstream media should take the main responsibility to...
Tell us honestly what you did;). I never got any strike in the past 1.5 years, though I got warning (flashing screen) occasionally because I was checking my phone and Tesla doesn’t like that.
About two months ago, my windshield wiper was broken by someone in NYC parking lot. Sentry mode didn’t catch anything, either: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/windshield-wiper-vandalized-in-nyc-parking-lot.53087/
I noticed FSD pays more attention to road and traffic conditions. Very often standard mode goes 70MPH on a 55 limit because everyone else drives that fast.
Yes, but did got warning multiple times and I guess because the rain blocked the camera, temporarily. The warning is “ take control immediately “, but disappeared momentarily and FSD was still controlling.
The FSD version is 14.2.2.2 and I assume it is the latest.
