I guess it's relevant to me based on my experience from charging my wife's 2018 Model 3 LR. Trying to apply my real world experience to unknowns for the CT on a learning curve. We are lucky we too can charge at home, 80% for daily use, 100% for trips. We have only used the Supercharger a handful...
Here's my logic in asking the question in the manner I did. The range of the CT I have placed a reservation for is 240 miles as I understand it. Round trip to Grandma's house in Los Angeles from San Diego is approximately 240 miles. (Annual tamale XMAS run!) There is a Tesla charging station...
I've read on this forum and elsewhere the charging time for the CT to 100% is rather lengthy. Beyond what I am used to on my wife's 2018 Model 3 Long Range.
Can anyone explain why that is?
I'm interpreting the $250 reservation page (that still does not appear to be active) to be for NEW
reservations. I already have a day #2 reservation at $100 and have a RN number.
For the NEW $250 reservation holders, I've read the $250 reservation is not refundable?
(Not that I really care!)...
Yes, it comes up on that link. But from what I see, it's not "active". At least for me, there's nothing to
enter as far as an additional deposit, etc. I guess I could make an attempt to contact Tesla at the (888) 518-**** phone number I have? I'll post up here what if anything I find out.
Received email today "as an early reservation holder" to purchase my CT! Full Options: $99,990
Question: (As best anyone can guess) If I sit on my reservation and do not respond to this "invitation", where does that leave me in the queue?
I'm going to wait for the dual motor, no FSD...basic...
My wife is the head of quality control testing in this household. If it can be bent, broken, dented, set on fire, or chipped she will do it! She once pulled the face off a sliding kitchen drawer! Not a Hot Flash, a Power Surge! Interestingly enough, the only thing she has dinged on her 2018...
