Maybe that is a spot they were looking at mounting the rear view mirror? Should be up there, somewhere near the middle… I like the look of the door panels, too.
Well, I love how it will look driving down the road - like a larger Cybertruck is eating the smaller one.
i hop you are able to continue with this concept. Good luck with your build!
Ok, I must admit to skipping a couple of pages in this thread, Ute it looks like no one mentioned the obvious point: like the side mirrors, owners will be able to remove this giant wiper themselves, after they take delivery!
This creates a third-patry opportunity for an aftermarket solution...
Well, why is this person inside a white coffin, which is within a purple coffin?
The angle of the side sails is also the angle of the Tonneau (minus an inch or so?)
I would ask Hodor to also enter by either sliding his feet into that area from the passenger compartment or climb in head-first...
Yeah, this has/will have an air suspension to increase ground clearance and the whole bottom was like a giant, stainless steel skid plate, at least on the prototype. I fully expect that for the final product.
A little too early to tell. Maybe after the factory opens, they will mention this? I didn’t have that option (picking up directly from the factory) with our m3, but Covid was also a factor.
Your order number will also likely be skewed based on what model CT you are getting versus what the...
I would keep the air compressor and the under vault storage, and those features that are not optional and likely opt-out of the ones I didn’t want or couldn’t afford.
Thankfully, the aftermarket tends to help fill in the gaps and will help me customize my CT!
RFTs are VERY heavy! Hopefully, the newer type of open mesh run-flats will be made, creating a lighter (usable) tire for an electric vehicle. Maybe that’s the one called a “tweel”? And, as mentioned, RFTs are also loud and stiff.
As to the dealership/store discussion, I have found that the old...
Yeah, the way I expect it to go, will be:
The first models built will be the highest-end, with several options, such as: four-wheel turning, solar tonneau, tow hitch, maybe some wheel option?
I expect Tesla to honor the pricing, but reservation holders , as they come up, will be offered the...
I think it looks great! I understand if some don’t like the look at it gets to production and would encourage those of you to look for alternatives and probably start by canceling your reservation. Especially if you are already of me in line,
The image is certainly low resolution and distorted...
I don’t see any mention of it being a limited number? Maybe that is normal and it wouldn’t say now, but perhaps when it is available for order, it will (say)?
if it isn’t a limited number, I’ll wait.
I am still burned about the 1:10 scale r/c Cybertruck. That I missed. My wife tried to get it...
I was already expecting this type of windshield, but the dash! I think glass will look and feel much better than the paper and no worries about it getting wet…
I have nowhere to use it, but had the same thoughts about it being potentially an investment if made as a limited or exclusive offering. I was also expecting a $9,999.00 price, but hoping it might be half that. Getting this will also depend on other options, how much will solar add? Four-wheel...
For the OP, I am glad you are going with an electric vehicle.
There will be a few other truck options available, by the time my CT reservaction is ready, but this is good for all of us. More options and competition push everyone forward.
Tesla has done so well, especially for a new car company...
Finally there are now Model S plaids driving, out in the wild, with a steering yoke. it seems that people are getting used to them fairly quickly and NHTSA did not block them from release.
Also, how interchangeable are the steering wheels/yokes?
I haven’t pulled a steering wheel off a car in many years and besides the airbags, there is also the other connections to be considered for compatibility.
if they are compatible, maybe it would be fairly trivial to swap them out, so...
