Mine did the same thing, but I didn't notice until I was on the road. To make it worse, once it auto wiped I turned it off, but it kept turning back on, now I have about a dozen track mark scratches on my windshield.
Being 2 hours from service, I had to order one online, and was out of...
You can see the end of the wiper flop around on this one. I didn't expect anything to happen and didn't even catch that this was when it came apart. It wasn't until later it completely came undone
I brushed the rest of the snow off by hand after this video. The blade came apart after I drove off about one mile later. I turned it off, but it kept coming on and the two metal structural pieces put about a dozen scratches on the window.
Except SC is two hours either direction. I can't drive it bc it will still run the wiper when it's 'OFF'. Have to wait on new wiper blade to ship to me
Here's when it broke. I defrosted for 10 minutes and made sure the blade was free before using. Watch the end of the blade when it goes fully down. It completely bent itself in half
Don't use your wiper on snow. The blade will come apart and scratch your windshield. Watch the end of the wiper at the passenger side. I even defrosted and made sure blade was free before using. Never happened with a gas car!
So my wiper blade folded in half, the blade cartridge came apart and scratched the hell out of my windshield. I turned it 'off' several times but it kept running. The connection piece at the middle of the blade has a metal bracket that is bent and the whole blade assembly came apart. I don't...
So FSD doesn't 'see' the cart return railings. The blue parking destination was over the parking line and into the cart return. I let it go right up to the railing. When I went back the next day it did ok, but the 3D visualization still didn't show the railings. v13.2.2 also hit curb #3 yesterday.
I wasn't aware of a more 'severe' reset. I've only had to put it in "P" (with my 3 and X). I don't recall if I've ever had to do it twice in one drive where it made me get out of the car. Interesting.
Lots of misconceptions by the OP:
1. Yanking the steering wheel so hard that you turn the wheels and disengage FSD doesn't count as a strike. Just grab the wheel and push toward the center just hard enough to 'slow down' the steering wheel movements. No need to 'yank' the steering wheel and...
The cold used to make my old batteries work again.
I spent 2 years during Covid in the LV desert with my Model 3. I rarely drove and kept it charged up to 80% all the time. I think the heat and keeping it at a high state of charge was part of my 8% degradation.
