Mine also charges at half speed on level 2 chargers and I do have an appointment for next week but not sure if they'll do anything. They try to tell me it's the wall connector, but it isn't (my other tesla's charge just fine). Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll just change the PCS during my...
I have the same attitude as you. My truck is solid and I don’t want to roll the dice on a new one. But the biggest most cumbersome issue hasn’t happened for me. If it had, I would be like you and get it fixed and keep the truck forever.
Thanks for your perspective. You hit the nail on the head. I am actually hoping to just get this failure over with prior to my warranty being over (4 year one). As I get closer to it being over without the failure, it’s making me nervous. They offered me $70k.
Thanks for the input. You're going to absolutely love the CT. I had the same model x (2018 6 seater) and we loved it. Our kids are older now and we seem to always run into situations where the 5 seats in the CT or our Model Y just aren't enough. That's the only reason I'm considering Model X now...
I just got an email with my trade in offer from Tesla stating I can do FSD transfer. Also the FS CT is not excluded per their terms and conditions page. So I think it's still available:

Hi all,
I have a very early FS CT and have been loving it. With the ability to transfer the FSD to a new cybertuck, I'm very tempted to trade mine in for a new one. The trade in offer is higher than what I owe which is awesome (holding it's value really well). The main reason for wanting to...
I wouldn't trust a single rep. The website clearly says that launch edition MY and FS CT are excluded. When I got my 700 VIN CT the rep told me there would only be 1000 FS...and that wasn't true haha.
Agreed. Does fine, doesn't scratch. If you can afford it I also recommend wrapping in clear PPF if you like to keep the stainless look. I did gloss clear PPF and it looks incredible and is extremely easy to clean, does fine in a car wash, and no fingerprints!
I totally agree. We were the first truck in Northern California (excluding the Bay Area) and didn’t see another one for probably 3-4 months after getting ours. Those first few months were pretty wild.
I don’t live in an area where is snows but have towed our trailer to the mountains several times and didn’t find the cold was a huge issue. However, I only had to deal with it for a week at a time. There are some things I wish were better like rattles and squeaks, also my inverter going out...
It's officially been 2 years since we got our FS CT. Have loved every minute. Don't see myself ever getting rid of it. Tesla sent the following message for feedback:
I had to reset the DAS many times in my model 3 because the cabin camera wasn't working reliably. Eventually went to epc.tesla.com and purchased a new cabin camera for less than $200. Put it in myself (very easy, many youtube videos on it). Never had to reset DAS again :)
Hopefully I don't get...
I'm sad Tesla changed their winter tire package. I bought the package last year and the tires were Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT's. The look is great and have done several snow trips and they have done fantastic. Day to day driving in dry conditions is also fine and road noise isn't terrible...
I have been extremely impressed with the improvements. I was also recently shocked that the truck pulled straight into a parking space in a crowded parking lot rather than backing in. It was very natural and caught me off guard.
Those Bluetti Apex 300s only have about 2.7kwh per pack. So even with two packs you can only add about 15 miles of real world range (6-7 if towing). That's a hell of a lot of money for 15 miles of range. I would love to have them, but can't justify the cost.
