So I heard back from Tlyard (who I’m getting the running boards from) and they said theirs are powered by the frunk power so no interference. Hope this helps.

Let me ask my contact to see what they advise as they are sending me the running boards to install and I don’t won’t to run into the same thing. I’ll let you know when I hear back.

The light that I installed does not hook up to the power in the frunk. That’s probably why I’m not having any issues with it. Mine connects to the power inside of the passenger compartment (Main Port) hope this helps
