I have to agree with @Ogre on this one.
Having said that.. there are probably 100's of renewable energy funds. Black rock has a fund ticker UCITS thats geared towards the transition to BEV's and vehicle tech.. but its basically just a bunch of OEM's and parts supplier with Tesla being the top...
Yeah ok... not 40%... but I think pricing is going to change and its probably going to be higher. they will spin at different features and what not. lets say it follows the model 3 price increase over the last year.. roughly 8k? So we are looking at something like $57,990 DMCT?
Reality bites.. but your most likely correct. I expect to see a heavily inflated price at launch. UNLESS CT is really just that affordable to manufacture.
While I love seeing the advancement of FSD.. I don't think I'll ever be able to use it. I get motion sickness on another level during car rides in which I am not driving.
I'd buy it haha.. 1000hp on pump gas with no power adders.
Fact of the matter is though.. I bet for the same amount of money I could swap in a really hot BEV setup. I'm planning on something similar in a Fury down the road.
They are and not every car enthusiast wants silence. Also, I seriously doubt the few engines they will sell like this is going to put the world in global climate despair.. we've all ready managed to achieve that
This is a specialty aftermarket crate motor.. this isn't gonna be getting put into Suburban and crap from the factory. Its for automotive enthusiast.
I love driving a clean vehicle everyday and hope to transition to full BEV ASAP.. But I still have my old dinosaurs in the garage.. nothing...
Im excited about Rivian and excited about the IPO. I think its a bit premature for them, But not as premature as almost all other EV startups going public.
If they came out with a lower priced truck they would deff be on my Radar.
He should have no problem affording a new Tesla haha, also.. the new plan is a direct to consumer discount rather than a tax credit. So if it passes that $7500 will come right off the top when he purchases his vehicle. This is better for lower income people who cant get the full $7500 tax credit...
For whats its worth, Tesla said during the most recent earnings report that they would be bringing LFP batteries to all standard range vehicles. IDK if CT is lumped into that but maybe. I would still want dual motors though :sneaky:
As a designer.. the original windshield line not aligning with the site windows would trigger me hardcore. In all likelyhood that could be the whole reason this was modified.
