I donāt think Tesla has procured enough Nvidia chips to do the required advanced calculations to put the purchasers in chronological order by service center.
Everything seemed to work for me. They dropped the new solar circuit into the Gateway instead of the main panel, and when we cut the power to the grid Solar kept working and the panels were both feeding backed up circuits and charging the car.
And an earthquake just hit here in OC - hope I...
The car is amazing and steer by wire has been next-level when it comes to maneuvering in tight parking garages or lots. I rarely punch it so the Beast is likely overkill for me, but I like knowing itās there. As many have said, itās by far the best driving vehicle Iāve ever owned.
Today was...
As far as I know it was the latter - they dropped the new system into the gateway and voila.
I should note that my PowerShare doesnāt show that I have solar, unlike some others that seem to see their systems in the app.
Just did this today with our system expansion and it worked like a charm. Did a test and cut the power from grid while the car was plugged in, and Powershare kicked in, but it actually powered the house and charged the truck due to the solar production. Woohoo! I'm so stoked to finally have...
Robruok - just wanted to confirm that your system is still working well. We're having an additional/parallel solar system being installed today, and from what I understand they can land the solar in the Powershare Gateway instead of the panel. From what I read in a different thread that's what...
PSI looks good on the TPMS, but āfeelsā like low air. The slower the worse the feel (like backing into a parking spot). Will check with true tire pressure gauge, but has anyone else experienced this?
Since weāre steer by wire Iām assuming the āfeelā should be insulated, but maybe not.
[Edit]...
That has always been my understanding as well, but when they link to the following verbiage, it again causes the confusion. Iām not sure whether this verbiage has been the same all along or is part of some sort of an update. No mention of, or alluding to, a power wall below as far as I can tell...
Further to this, if you read the post that is in the original X link on this thread, it seems somewhat ambiguous, and there is a reference to being able to charge the cybertruck if you have solar during an outage without any mention of a power wall.
Isnāt that just for the test? I never received that email when mine went live (or missed it) and have never touched my inverter breakers. Iām still unclear based on the latest post.
* I have solar panels
* I have a Cybertruck
* I have PowerShare installed and it worked during a power outage
So do I now have the ability to charge my truck and power my home during an outage even though I donāt have a powerwall or similar battery installed, which wasnāt an option before...
Make sure to put steer by wire through its paces - hit some parking garages and/or areas where you can really get a feel for what it's like to maneuver in relatively tight quarters (not just normal neighborhood/freeway driving).
I set the discharge limit to 20%, so plenty to get me to a local supercharger that is out of the fire risk area. That said, Iād likely load up my dadās 64.5 Mustang and bug out with that since it has much more sentimental value than the CT (despite me absolutely loving the CT). One is more...
In SoCal (OC) and lost electricity early this afternoon due to the winds and high fire risk. About 6 hours later and our Cybertruck is still providing electricity to the house. Has used about 25 miles of range so far.
