    Autopilot failures WSJ video

I believe I read that this is from 2021. Think about the changes in Autopilot and FSD since then. FUD.

Auxiliary Battery in the Cybertruck bed?

Besides needing the temperature control, it would be very heavy. Not something you would be removing easily. I think it is a no way.

So the Cybertruck fits in a garage (at under 19ft long)... But was the size reduction worth it for you?

It will be interesting to see how maneuverable the truck truly is. With the front wheels so close to the front end of the vehicle and the rear wheels also turning, parking lots should be a lot easier. There should be a reduction of multipoint turns in the lot than a Crew Cab full size pickup...

    Cybertruck BIW body-in-white frames with front/rear castings 🤩 [7/11/23]

What frustrates me about Tesla Insurance is the 10:30 PM penalty. Seems too early and I drive after 10:30 PM on game nights or from friends house parties. I am almost never home later than 11:00 PM. It has impacted my safety score and subsequently, my insurance rates.

Price for CyberTruck ESTIMATE released by Farzad Mesbahi July 3rd, 2023

I believe the pricing will be close to the 2019 prices. Tesla has reduced many of the costs since 2019. Though the CT is unique, Tesla is not building it to be the most expensive truck on the market. It will be near the original budgets just to spite the ICE truck market and drive them into the...

Cybertruck vault sub-trunk fully opened! + Tonneau cover and tailgate lowering in action!

I want to learn how to use a plug repair kit anyway. With the compressor, that is an "easy" fix.

Business Insider: Tesla's Cybertruck is finally coming. It's going to rattle rivals and transform the EV market as we know it.

I am assuming you should be able to set the height of the vehicle in your preferences when in Park as you can set the seat height. With the air suspension, I am betting it will be easy to climb into the truck.

    Leaked interior Cybertruck photo!

And why does it matter with FSD? FSD is very close to full operation. I agree that the Kool-aid-brigade is making a mountain of a mole hill.

Total Solar Eclipse in Austin Texas, Apr 8, 2024 at 1:37 pm

My son and I were able to see the last one. Drove to Wyoming. Very worth the effort to see. I will be trekking to see this one too.

    40,000 Production this year prediction

What I am most interested in the delivery of 2023 Cybertrucks is the distribution to local markets so I can touch and feel my future (if I still like it) purchase. I am down in the 600K range for reservations and am hoping for a 2025 delivery. Not holding my breath though.

    40,000 Production this year prediction

Don't forget the loss of energy due to heat loss in the ICE truck.

    40,000 Production this year prediction

With my expectations at towing to be 50%, I believe I am not being too optimistic. Regarding cold weather effects, My model 3 is not that impacted in cold weather. I do not see a drastic drop in range. What I do see in my 3 and my hybrid Lincoln is similar effects in the heat of summer and the...

How long will you wait for your Cybertruck?

I am around 650K and thinking mid 2025. That is a lot of vehicles to ramp from one factory. I would not be surprised to creep to the end of 2025. I does indeed allow me to see one in person to make sure it is what I still desire and need.

IRS EV Tax Credits Pricing Idea for Quad Motor CT

I read in some post, somewhere, that FSD is an option that does not count toward the cost of the vehicle. I am keeping this hope alive. I think your guestimate could be reality but it is also hopeful pricing.

How can this work? (Rube Goldberg charging setup!)

Not sure of your adaptors you listed but you may want to consider RV camp grounds. They have trailer hook-ups with 220 VAC plugs. I intend to buy all of the adaptors from Tesla for my next road trip for just this reason. We stayed at a KOA cabin and they had the plugs if I had had the adaptors.

    Yoke vs. steering wheel

I ran into my high school teacher who was by this time an elderly gentleman. I saw him at a hospital. He was complaining that he had been injured by an air bag and was several years into trying to gain his motion back and to have his pain reduced. Air bags are a hazard when hands are in the...

    Can we talk Skid Plates?

Two items of concern. Rocks flipping up while driving on dirt/gravel roads potential damage to battery and the frunk being impacted by a deer or other large creature. I could see some beef on such as a skid plate and a brush bar (if that is what they are called) to protect the frunk from such an...
