I am in Texas where a front plate is required. I don't put on front plates on my cars. I have been stopped in the past, but not in several years. Police seem to be much more lax now.

I have an excellent use case for range. Most of my miles are on rural roads with 50 - 60 mph speed limits. 650 miles of interstate highway at 70 mph. 80 miles pulling 1,700 lbs tent trailer. Temperatures are hot here in Texas. Tires at 50 psi cold. Very pleased with range! AWD no aero, AT tires.

I have 2k miles on my AWD VIN 82XX. Have used the wipers several times with no issues yet.

I received mine today. It was on backorder. It doesn't fit except in the back where the storage compartment is. Arrrgh!

So do I understand correctley that the new $2,500 Tesla Shop credit replaces the $4,000 power installation credit for Beast orders and this initiative has nothing to do with AWD orders?

I received delivery of my AWD on April 30 and have not received an email.

My understanding is that the wiper stays down when traveling over 40 mph to keep the water from streaming back up on the windshield.

Mine was delivered 4/30/24 at Pond Springs Service Center, Austin TX

FWIW - My experience with Smart Charge America was excellent. Their team was knowledgeable and polite. They assisted to find the best way to accomplish my desired charger location. One of the technicians even swept my front walkway while he was waiting for the software install to complete!

Someone on the Delivered Orders forum shows a 38XX VIN delivered.

Good, thanks for the update! I hope there is a flood of them coming.

There have been no AWD deliveries to Texas reported on the Order Tracking list since March 1. Three Beast deliveries, but zero AWD.

And does ProtectaClear result in a polished finish or a mat finish? It's hard to tell by looking at the pictures.
